@ashleywilliams71028 ай бұрын
Avoid hyper extending! You just lift your legs by squeezing the glutes and extend no more than parallel.

I am 60 &have my first Baker’s Cyst. Banding &exercising w/tension like this would be excruciating for me, when just sitting is painful on that knee. I ice &elevate my leg above my heart, then swing my feet over the edge of the bed and try to bend the knee. Advil helps also.
@ReasonablySpeaking980811 ай бұрын
You need to get more active. Heat behind the knee first, massage it, then do the exercises. Sitting down a lot makes it even more stiffer. The muscles around the knee actually become more weaker, causing the knee to function less.

Please HELP, I have lower back pain, (Bulging disk) so I was told by my Doctor, Physical therapist and Chiropractor that I need to make my lower back stronger including the glutes. I have used the regular GHD hyper in the gym and definitely works making my lower back pain get better and also gives me a little stretch in my vertebrae. I have limited money and space, which do you recommend for someone like me. I'm not a powerlifter, just trying to make my lower back stronger and get some stretch/decompression on my back. Should I the regular GHD or the Reverse Hyper? thanks...

Have found some half assed videos on KZbin by channels with physio in the name. And some articles online too. I think they are sceptical because they didn't learn it in school, and therefore decide it must be wrong citing old research to back up their claims. Also back pain is one of the main reason people go to physio, so money could a factor in their opinion too. Their are so many testimonials and top medical experts that have given glowing reviews too. I'm going to buy one of these for my home gym, as I know I need more back strength after years office work and some old Ice Hockey injuries that have caused degeneration of lumbar discs. Even if all the claims are not fully explainable, results matter more than theories for me. We still know so little about the body in modern medicine and good physicians will admit that. Thanks to Louie for making this machine, and for the free lessons on correct and responsible use. Much love and remember, leave your ego outside when working out to stay healthy 🏋♂️🤸♂️🏄♂️❤
