Is Roland referencing the Mendez brothers case when he says “these days it’s worse to shoot a tiger than your own parents”? Oof that would be very dated, given what folks know better now. This is otherwise a good scene for Roland & Ajay’s characterization. The conversation they have about previous hunts alone works, the use of an unnamed woman being sexually harassed & him coming in to beat up the harasser unnecessary. The conversation alone is all that’s needed.

Nedry was breaking all sorts of legal agreements and committing corporate espionage and grand larceny. He'd have ended up in prison if he'd survived.

maybe I'm overanalyzing this but I think Gordy acts the way he does partially because he's never felt seen or gotten attention from his father so in his own disturbed mind, he believes he needs to be the center of attention always to validate the sadness within him.
