Nobody in these comments has a clue what they are talking about 😂 it’s got nothing to do with motion blur at all, it’s a classic example of screen tearing. ASE had the same problem and you fixed it by enabling Vsync in the game settings. You do the same on ASA. There was 1 guy here in the comments that tried to explain it by saying it’s when the game puts out a higher fps than your monitor can handle, and this is wrong too since this game runs between 30-50fps on PS5 at best without changing the settings, and most TVs and basic monitors since the 1990’s are 60hz (and can do up to 60fps). The problem here is that the game has not been optimized for PS5 and XSX consoles properly by Studio Wildcard, so the game is fluctuating frames constantly and losing sync between the horizontal frames and the vertical frames causing the screen tearing. There is nothing wrong with your TV/monitor or the game, the game just needs a change in settings. In ASE vsync was in the settings but in ASA it’s available but hidden and not in the settings. Turning vsync on in the ASA command console will fix this. Enable console commands from the game settings and type in r.Vsync 1

Love how the devs disabled the water surface tension/sea foam on the ps5 when it had it on launch… oddly enough it still shows up in the water deep in the artifact caves… Anyways they need to bring it back asap

It’s screen tear. Means your game is running at higher fps than your monitor / TV can display.

Not true. What you are talking about is screen tearing of a different kind which is resolved with VRR. But screen tearing of this kind happens when the vertical frames and the horizontal frames lose sync. This game outputs between 30-50fps on PS5 (without disabling clouds, grass and fog) and every monitor/TV since 1990 has been made at least 60hz. It is screen tearing but it’s got nothing to do with his game putting out more fps than his display can handle as you said, he simply just needs to enable Vsync from the in game console command box to make the horizontal frames match the vertical frames and it will fix the screen tearing. The issue you are talking about is completely different and uses VRR to fix those issues instead of Vsync

When you do splitscreen on ps5 for some reason the fog becomes so thick that you literally have nothing on your screen except gray

If you go in to the games settings and turn on console commands and pause the game you should see at the bottom left hand corner "console commands" just type "R.VSync 1" and that will get rid of the screen tearing, It helped me a lot.

Hey, Sehr geiles Gameplay. kannst du vllt ein paar Tipps geben wie du es schaffst so gut zu zielen? Ich benutze eine Meta quest 3 aber es so zu schaffen wie du und jeden Schuss zu präzise zu treffen bin ich weit entfernt von. Zielst du über Kimme und Korn und hälst ein Auge zu ? (So mache ich es immer aber es klappt nicht so perfekt) Ich finde das Game extrem geil aber das zielen frustriert mich ein wenig. Würde mich über jede Hilfe freuen!
