@@brianridgard5132 Hi, does the speaker still work in the same door and does the window go up and down? If no then you have an electrical fault relating to the door. If yes you need to start removing door card from inside which is hard with door closed but possible (be careful to not damage the door card) once you got a bit of room you have to release the door from the lock manually, then doors open now remove rest of door card and examine the actuator mechanism as that’s more than likely what’s probably failed.

It works best when you turn that little button (in the video) all the way to the left, then close the door. Then open the window and open the car door from inside. The lock and the button inside will reset it's self to it's primary position. Job done! Now it should open from outside. Had that problem on A5 3.0 tdi quattro 2009. Worked perfectly

I have the same issue with my Audi A5 SportsBack the problem came after I disconnected the battery, and now the rear passenger door won't lock after I lock the car every other door locks but not this one and the window on it won't come down or go up not from the window switch on the door or from the main driverside controls, I have tried the turning method that you have a show in this video for me what it does is completly locks the door so even after I unlock the car this door does not open until I open it from the inside and then it goes back to being not locking even after locking the vehicle, the car is also throwing a child safe module malfunction. I don't know what to do any help would be appreciated.

@@FaizanKhan-ix6oq it seems as the module located in that door is faulty you could test it by remove both rear door cars and putting the problematic module on the driver side rear door if the problem transfers to driver side you know the problem is with the module then you would hop on eBay and order the same module with part numbers matched, the module may be to be programmed

@@FaizanKhan-ix6oq try transferring the modules from one door to another and see if fault transfers as the it could just be a coincidence it failed as you removed battery not necessarily linked

@@kimjenkins6421 remove door card and inspect internals but more than likely you’ll need to replace the actuator, common fault and part cam found on eBay

@@c4lho888 if you have ruled out top mounts,drop links have you checked the wheel for any play with the bottom arm or the tie rod end maybe check the brake pad shims also Check both side fronts

I had this issue and took it to the Ford dealer and they determined that the door ajar sensor was bad via a diagnostic so they replaced it and now it doesn't show the door ajar warning when I'm driving. But when I lock it it's still goes off qnd honks....took it back to the ford dealership and they are completely stumped and unable to recreate the problem.......so now my car doesn't show the door ajar warning anymore but randomly when it's locked the door alarm goes off. Any ideas? I'm desperate at this point

I replaced yesterday the fuel filter because was due and also because the screw cap was leaking, the car failed MOT last week. I tightened all back in place thinking this will cure the problem but it appears that didn’t solve the issue and I can’t tighten it any more, sensible force applied. What to do? I can’t find on market just the screw for selling. Is there a way to replace screw cap gasket ? instead of replacing the entire fuel filter housing????

I had exact same warning lights, got some redex diesel cleaner and drove with high revs for 10 minutes, turned off and on and totally fine…
