Like many have said, I was 18 too, we got really near the front and from Waterfront onwards I just remember bouncing up and down with my hands on the shoulders of whoever was in front and the person behind me with their hands on my shoulders. Like anyone of my age, I’ve seen countless bands in many arenas and stadiums but this gig, my first ‘stadium size’ one, was head and shoulders (you see what I’ve done there😂) above them all and always will be. I can only assume the bowl is no longer a venue because stadiums bring in more money where they can charge loads more to sit in a seat🤷🏽♀️

Only my fav band could summon such a tune, nothing else like it out there. The band really could have made some amazing soundtracks as they made soundscapes, Jim's talent was finding those nuggets and telling stories to them in a way only he could. How lucky we are that they found each other as they did, there's just nothing like this. How Michael pulls this off live is mind bending.

The powerhouse that is Mel Gaynor comes to the fore here. This performance is another example of why this brilliant band can be considered the best live band out there!

Why change the vocal timing, style and character of the voice compared to the original, much better version? Shouldn't mess with what was so special and appealing in the first place. Just ruins it.

each to their own Mark, have seen them live umpteen times and they tweak songs all they time even classic ones. this was over 25 years ago too! ; )

"Never take medical advice from an astrophysicist," as one intelligent commenter advices. Agreed. Don't they use theoretical physics and theoretical mathematics to 'prove' astrophysical theory, e.g., "2+2=5" ???

Jim doing his dislocated knee dance is so funny. Great band, but they went a bit wonky due to Jim`s ego late 1980`s. Silly fellow, at least he admits he became a bit of a tyrant. He must have been doing his paper round after this, he has his newspaper bag lol
