Don’t know about mine vehicles…. But 100% recommend these for regular 4wd 12v setups…. Looks great, easy to wire up, they just work….

With due respect, Bonetti Campers have been selling the hot water system for years and its a lot simpler that egon. In simple terms, this system has been out there for years. In plumbing terms, it;s a simple mixing valve that I had for at least as long as possibly 20 years. I like the idea with egon, but too complicated and too expensive.

I mean the Tigerexped central electrics TEXU400 / TEXU200 are quite similar, but require crimping...
@markl45285 ай бұрын
I want to buy one of these for an upcoming 12v build in an overlanding 4wd as i like spending money on gadgets but i still cannot see the justification for $700?! I don’t think it’s worth that to not have to crimp and heatshrink and to remove the need of seperate component(fuseblock etc). It does look like it would simplify the solution for newcomers(should they really be installing a system in the first place) or someone that installs them on the daily and the client is pying for the egon. My question is, is this hub worth buying for someone that can design and install a 12v system and why? Fuseblocks have diagnostic leds so what else would i be gaining?? Sorry for the negativity but maybe ita not for me?

Hi Guys, Was wondering if you had any issues with popping the uln2003 chip....Unless the schematic is incorrect or your using relays with built in "back emf" diodes across the coils you may issues....
@stevegraham38176 ай бұрын
For those playing along at home the correct terminology are... Potable/Drinking water, which has been Filtered, Decontaminated, Processed, and made safe for consumption. Rain Water used to be Drinkable as Untreated Water, but there are too many once airborne contaminants that have found their way into the rain water collection and storage systems. Apparently... Is bird and bat poo classed as once airborne contaminants? lol. And Non-Potable/ Undrinkable/Raw/Untreated Water such as the Rain Water, and Creek or Dam Water that you don't know they quality of. Quite often it is safe for everything except consumption unless boiled above 85degC at sea level. Grey water is Waste Water that is not Sewerage, generated from Baths, Showers, Wash Basins, and Laundries. You don't want to be using Grey Water for showering due to the potential Biological Contaminants. Part of that list can be E-Coli, Giardia, Salmonella, Campylobacter, etc, which can cause digestion issues, and there are others that can cause skin issues. Black Water is Sewerage Waste Water, and you don't want to shower in that either. lol.

Can the dirt / aux water source be pressurised coming into the water hub at all? My scenario would be using a secondary pump to draw water from a river possibly 20m away, I'm assuming the 3.5lpm pump on the aux circuit would not be able to pull water from a river for example? Or can city water be connected as the aux source? A very impressive solution in such a small package.

Heiner and Andrew, I love this Egon Relay-hub, however what's with the light/load getting some power (@1:59) before the associated Fuse is plugged in? Seems like some sort of voltage leak in the circuit? My guess is it's leaking through via the LED or the resistor?

Awesome product will be implementing in my build. 2 questions: 1) @:1.23 : how many switches can i daisy chain for the power output for switch input (i.e poistive and ground cable from board powering the switches) i have a few switches right next to eachother which need power 2) how do you recommend running two seperate 12v power inputs into different located switches FROM THE BOARD - i.e. two sets of cables to switches - for example switch in the front of the cab and switch in the back of the cab 3) Located in perth - is it best to source from p2p or is there a cheaper option ? Many thabks great video

I love your product, I reckon these demos need to have components screwed down in a realistic scenario. Even if it is a board with the outline drawing of a vehicle on it with the field components represented in someway. It doesn’t have to be to scale.

@@EGONGame-changingsimplicity mmmk... my build is a silverado pickup truck were the whole bed will likely be wet/submerged during river crossings. so current plan is use co2 pressurized tanks to deliver water. but if ya'll can comeup with a pump system that can be dunked in saltwater. I am all ears. I live in the 'rust belt' so hence salt corrsion is an issue.
