What's important to you will tell you where to draw the line. Experience will tell you where to move it. Conscientiousness will make you suffer over whether or not you put that line in the right place. This video has made me think and reflect quit a bit, but I'll end where this video started, What makes someone a good person? I still cringe over, and feel bad about things I did decades ago. I don't tell anybody about them. I'm not looking for sympathy. I wasn't mean-spirited. I just feel awful about things I did, even though they weren't all that bad. I feel bad about things I did as a child, even though I'd forgive a child for doing the same stupid thing that I did. I think people who feel bad about things tend to be good people, and those who never feel bad, are the people who have no caring for others.

flawed argument; to default to the belief in doubtfulness of being a good person is to invite shame and all of its consequence; apathy, grief, anger, resentment, cynicism. If you doubt you are a good person, then question it. Why, and who is the judge? Nothing moves forward with yourself without self-acceptance of truth, and truth is content and context. We do bad things, and if upon recognizing we have done something bad then we need to look at why. The function of healthy guilt is to acknowledge it and apologize if needed, learn and move forward with change where it's needed. The default for being human is to make errors. We have been taught to feel unworthy and that there is something 'wrong' with us. It's the shame that drives us to believe things about ourselves that keep us there, fill us with self-doubt and conform to a behavior and surround ourselves with company that supports that belief. Being good is a matter of principle and belief; a self-standard based upon love and respect for yourself; not a motivation inspired by shame or guilt and doubt. That leads to nothing but self criticism and judgement. It serves nobody. Being good is a path, a commitment to those principles; progress, not perfection. Success from failure. Wounds that produce healing wisdom. This teaching in this video is self-defeating.

We are all sinners, that leads us to hell by default. That's why Jesus-CHRIST died on the cross, to pay for our sins because he's the only rightful person who lived on Earth, avoiding us to have to receive the retrubution for the evil deeds we've done : eternal death. That's why << For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.>> John 3 : 16

I often wonder when I donate money if it's actually helping anyone, in the truest sense. It's not always the case that giving someone money actually helps them. It could be the worse thing that ever happened to them. I've heard spiritual stories about souls that incarnate as someone violent or whatever in order to push ppl towards growth. Are they good or bad? Things are not always what they seem.

I don't think of people as "good" in the absolute sense, regardless of who they are. Any animal (including humans) has to cause the ☠of thousands of other animals to reach adulthood. Such beings cannot be described as good. But they are also victims of the system in which they find themselves, so they can't easily be described as "bad" either. I try to avoid causing unnecessary suffering, most of the time. I think that describes most humans.

A segment from 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within'... My new understandings of what many call 'God -The Holy Spirit' - resulting from some of the extraordinary ongoing after-effects relating to an NDE... Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence - the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future - right down to the minutest particles of dust - each being an individual ripple or wave. The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration. ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter - I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist. For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects - including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars - none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses. To break it down - Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists - including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them - our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant - our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma - and more importantly, our enlightenment. The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory - whenever we experience or express our emotions - or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing. The second law - Renge - Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho - these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlies all spiritual and physical existence. The final and third part of the tri-combination - Kyo, is the Law that allows Myoho to integrate with Renge - or vice versa. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter - as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication - perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists. Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us - all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux - constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ - the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation - rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge - and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents. Nam, or Namu - which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’. On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives - as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives - even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances - turn them into positive ones - or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are - regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect - the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication. For example, the levels of difference could be compared to making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything. NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result of any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self - this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things - such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things conventionally - rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within - including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time - to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. It’s also important to understand that everything we need in life, including the answer to every question and the potential to achieve every dream, already exists within us.

The Indian community in Tempe is immense and I have Indian student-friends who came from many different cities like Delhi and Gujarat. Oddly, I think the Indians there gelled well with most Americans, it was the fighting among Indians that was more concerning. Regional nationalism if I may. The Gujjus and Punjabis talking bad about the mannerism of the South Indian folk living there. These same chest-thumping Indians are Andrew Tate fans -- talk about assimilation and how. Weird.

I’m someone who grew up in a higher income group area in a Southern Indian city during my formative years. After that, I grew up amongst all sorts of different socio-economic demographics from rural, semi-rural and urban areas. English is my primary cognitive native language followed by Hindi and Telugu. Of course, I don’t have the accent of people who grow up in the US or Canada, the same way they don’t have the accent of someone who has grown up in Scotland or Kenya. However, grammatically and syntactically, I’m pretty much on par with anyone from any English speaking country. I’ve been speaking English with my friends since I was in kindergarten. People like me are a minority in the country and the amount of vitriol you have to bear from other Indian people if you can speak the language fluently is annoyingly high (I’ve tolerated it even from family members). I never speak English with those who aren’t comfortable in it and often I try to hide the fact that I can speak the language fluently so as to not appear pompous or hurt other people’s egos. Insults involving cultural blackmail like “angrej ka aulad” (“son of an Englishman”), “macaulay ka baccha” (“macaulay’s son”), the phrase “English is only a language, not knowledge nor a measure of intelligence” being repeatedly hurled (my username is a response to that and my channel largely deals with that sort of crap), and in rarer cases even physical threats are not uncommon. I was once told by a guy I used to live in hostel with “angreji baath karna hai tho dhoor jaake baath kar, varna tereko kya karenge pata nahin” (“if you want to speak English, go far away and do so, otherwise you don’t know what we’ll do to you”). Apart from cultural and emotional blackmail, gaslighting, false allegations etc. also take place when it comes to this topic. These sorts of English-resentment attitudes are not something prevalent only amongst uneducated people but are also prevalent amongst educated people with degrees in engineering, medicine, law etc., even from the topmost institutes (which should not be surprising, given the demographics from which people come to study in those institutes). So, for example, doctors from a more vernacular demographic (who read their books in English, but can’t speak it with native fluency) might say things like “those hi-fi English speaking doctors are useless, they work in useless departments like Anatomy and Pathology; our Hindi/Telugu medium guys are top guys, they are surgeons and HODs” etc. Sour grapes. In more vulnerable moments though, people will admit they feel insecure that they can’t speak English. I can understand that most people do not grow up in environments where fluent English is spoken but I have to protect myself also. There’s an entire webseries called “Angreji Mat Jhaad” (“Don’t show off in English”) on the channel “The Screen Patti” on KZbin. Hyper-religiosity where a person’s character will be assassinated for speaking out against religion, hyper-nationalism where a person will be character assassinated for making legitimate criticisms of something are also widely prevalent. And it’s not like people necessarily change. Many people just die being that way. Chetan Bhagat wrote a good article regarding some of this stuff called “Anatomy of an Internet Troll” on The Times of India website. BTW, in no shape, way or form am I saying that our people are unique in doing these things and that people in North America and Europe are all better and perfect in every way (because they aren’t). Different forms of similar things I’ve described take place between other ethnicities in those continents also (for example, Estonia has a Russian vs Estonian language divide). These are just my observations having lived here for several decades. I interact with a lot of people online and I’ve made a bunch of friends from the US, Australia etc. (not Indians but people of other ethnicities). People I’ve talked to for years and I enjoy talking to. Of course, every now and then I’ll have some prick call me an “Indian ni*g*r” or a “brown POS”, but people are nice for the most part. One thing I realised is, if you take away external features like skin colour, accent etc., people are actually very similar. The environment in which you grow up makes a hell of a lot of difference.

Because US gets the cream of the crowd, while Canada gets people (mostly) straight from the villages of Punjab. Most of them have never lived in a big city; and don't know how to integrate/behave. Coming to the point, I would say that the problem with Indians is that they can't take criticism while they abuse every one especially the Muslims and Pakistan. I openly say that Pakistanis have so many problems but we take it, we admit it and we are trying to correct it. But on other hand, If you say something to an India about something which is not good, they would start to abuse you right away instead of taking it in a positive manner. This kind of behavior will lead to so many problems for Indians as it is happening right now in Canada. You write: "Only some uneducated Indian truck drivers may not speak English but Indians highly educated and speaks better English. Wrong Analysis". Are you highly educated or an uneducated truck driver? Because your English is of a pretty low level and requires practice. The correct way to write this would be: "Only some uneducated Indian truck drivers may not speak English well but Indians who are highly educated speak English well. Your analysis is incorrect.". Also, most educated people (even with degrees in engineering, law etc.) in India also have English which is poor (they may be great at maths, but their English is not particularly good). 10% of the country has some degree of English knowledge, but people who speak and write the language fluently are probably more like 30 million in a country of 1400 million. Most people write stuff like "I didn't had my breakfast" (instead of "I didn't have my breakfast"), "did he entered the building?" (instead of "did he enter the building?" etc.). His analysis is not wrong at all.

This is just the tip of the iceberg if you take all the sabotage across Europe, too numerous to list here. I also have strong evidence that NS2 and 1 were done by R.
