Drummer could have helped accentuate the the crescendo of her playing and followed her on that journey. Otherwise pretty dam good

Byron Landham is really underrated, truly one of the masters in terms of swing. So sad Lonnie and Joey are both not here with us now...

Doug Carns played a set for my wife's father (Larry Young, Jr) in San Francisco just this past fall. Doug was outstanding and what a tribute was offered on Mr Young's Birthday! Thanks to The Doodlinlounge" for bring it all together!!

My daughter had a children's book or magazine that listed the Hammond organ as one of the most influential inventions of the 20th century.

Such a deadly combination! I had the pleasure of touring with brother Jack for a number of years in the 70's. Benson came and sat in with us regularly. He always tore the place down. And how about McDuff's independence!!?? Amazing.

As a longtime drummer and true fan of Tower Of Power, I have seen them back in the day with the Original Members, even when they went through several Lead Singers. To this day, T.O.P. is high on the list, as - One of my favorite Groups. Ron on drums, is doing his thing and keeping the pocket groove. However, I kinda wish that David Garibaldi was a part of this group. LP, CT & DG, Original Groove Pushing Playing T.O.P. Alumni!!
