Vietnam is a crap place to visit. We had to return after only 14 days as the Immigration Department refused to extend our visa to 30 days despite it saying on their website. 14 days is not long enough to see the country. My advice, go to Thailand!

Heard negative feedbacks that the Immigration Authority officials at Point of Entry are giving challenges to tourists entering into Vietnam. Whatever that are officially available were not a reality of Vietnam welcoming tourists. Could the Ministry of Tourism advise on these negative feedbacks asap. I have already booked the air ticket to visit Vietnam very soon. I am wondering if I should I change my air ticket to another country instead. Thank you

My GF in Saigon and I are getting married next June 2022. We have small businesses together. I will happily give up my job in Australia to be in Vietnam. Every time I have gone there I have come back happy and refreshed. I love Vietnamese people and their can do attitudes. It's time to start living.
