Hi everyone! I just noticed a small mistake while syncing the sheet music with Soundslice for Patreon members (and you’re all invited to join!). The intro is at a halved tempo-it should be in eighth notes instead of sixteenth notes. This will be corrected in the PDF version.

"Caravan" was written by Juan Tizol, a Puerto Rican trombonist who was Duke Ellington's right-hand man for a long time. But thanks for the transcription anyway, great job!!

I had this on VHS as taught by the great Marcel Dadi. He showed how this and "Winter Walking" were essentially the same tune. Jerry had a creative mind like no other and a very unique style. Thanks for posting this.

Bonjour, mesure 49 les doigtés ne sont pas ceux que joue Samy Daussat. Si les doigtés ne sont pas les bons, cela devient très difficile, voir impossible de rejouer les notes que le guitariste joue à l'origine.

Bonjour, effectivement si les doigtés ne sont pas bon c’est plus difficile. Cela dit en fonction des situations plusieurs doigtés sont possible et parfois certains très bon guitaristes utilisent des doigtés différents pour jouer les mêmes notes. En l’occurrence ici le doigté est bon, Samy joue un arpège de A7b9 et en jazz manouche nous le jouons de cette façon, libre à vous de le changer si vous n’aimez pas.

Non je suis désolé, dans ce cas précis et dans cette situation, Samy Daussat, joue ces arpèges diminués seulement sur deux cordes ( REGARDEZ la vidéo ). Sinon cela n'est pas possible techniquement.

@@valocheacoustic Vous savez, vous n' êtes pas le seul à faire des erreurs. Il y a plein de personnes qui font des transcriptions où il y a des erreurs de notes, voir des notes manquantes, des erreurs d'harmonies de rythme et de doigtés etc... Belle continuation musicale.

@@transcriptionslibrary its like 49euros for the cd, since i dont have anything to play an LP, i have to get the CD, i live in Belgium so its extra 8 euros for shipping. Just to hear this album It's not worth it as much as i love Mr. Shmitt his playing. I wish i could hear this album/ song online or buy a digital copy. But I just hear the song in this video so that works (:
