In the capture demonstration where Wally catches Ralts, the game acts as if he caught Ralts anyway. In Pokemon SCVL, if you beat the Titans in one go, you just win the battle. In this game of BOTW, you can ( not that I will) throw a Cucco into Lava, and they won't all chase after you.

I learned a lot in this episode. I will use some of these tips in my next hard mode playthrough.

I wish for TOTK they would have had the first couple of shrines moved to random locations in the Great Sky Islands to at least give people a different experience with each new start of the game or add something like this in as DLC.

There are so many games that look very different from their trailers. Watchdogs, Bioshock Infinite, Sonic 06, and No Man Sky all look very different in terms of graphics, story beats, cut content, etc. At least No Man Sky is still being worked on and keeps getting updates that make the game look more like the OG Trailer.

Technically when you gather all 7 Dragon Balls nothing happens, you have to summon the Dragon first. And Yes, it is an important difference, as Freeza had all 7 Dragon Balls on Namek but couldn't summon the Dragon.

Earlier on in the episode where the Doctor first met Rogue, Billie Eilish's Bad Guy was playing in the background in the same orchestral style, which I may be misinformed but considering how this is "the Bridgerton episode", I'm pretty sure that was something they took from that series

I liked Space Babies a lot. It was silly and childish but it was so fun! It reminded me a lot of Partners in Crime.

Also there was something about stormy or when the trix are laughing messing things up was changed and then some contestant outfits. And some think a girl icy makes slip is an adult joke lol

Part of this episode reminded me of the classic Christmas movie ’It’s a Wonderful Life’. In that film, the angel, Clarence, shows Jimmy Stewart’s character, George, what the town of Bedford Falls would have been like if he had never lived. Everything about the town is noticeably depressed, and crucially, George’s brother would not have lived to perform the lifesaving heroics he did in World War II because George would not have been there to save him from drowning when they were children. In the segment of ‘The Church on Ruby Road’ where Ruby had never grown up, her adoptive family Carla Sunday and Cherry Sunday, both appear very depressed. Their existence is all the poorer due to Ruby’s absence. Ruby, like George, is very important because she has and will, touch so many people’s lives in valuable ways. So, a fascinating parallel with the 2023 Doctor Who Christmas special and a classic Hollywood ‘Christmas special’.

This episode had the opposite effect to me unfortunately. I’ve been seeing a lot of #RIPDoctorwho. We don’t want a doctor that has S&M trips with Houdini. It just ruins the image of the doctor to a lot of people. Ever since Disney, financed it, they have gone woke in every way..

yess, and also when bismuth carries pearl after coming out of lion pearls legs glitch from normal to one leg over the other and then when they are play fighting outside and bismuth says “i dont recall asking you to bring me a spear” and pearl says “you wont like how i give it to you!” bismuths pants completely disappear . anyways love the video :)

Great review. I thought the episode was alright. I think Al’s brother is funny and it feels kind of nice to have around every now and then, it would be annoying if he were to stick around for the whole show though lol. I did like the fact that the brother was being haunted by that dead guy and that Allison tries to convince her brother to do the right thing.

Whilst Series 9 is one of my weaker ones for me,(I love all of Series 1-10) I love that it works so well for you and that you have so much passion for the stories this series. I really enjoy seeing what people love about episodes and how the themes of this series are carried throughout the stories. Heaven Sent is a masterpiece, also I love Under the Lake and Before the Flood, awesome base under siege story the time travel, paradoxes and setting completely grip me

Okay, so comments as I go along; -I've said it elsewhere to other groups, but to me the first film felt like a pretty good family film based on a video game, whereas Sonic 2 feels like a faithful adaptation (as a Sonic fan) within the limitations of the already set up universe), with some of the little things to locations, little action sequences or even bits of sound design. -I do like the portrayal of seeing the brotherly bond of Sonic and Tails again after some time, which we haven't seen much I'd say since before Colours or even Unleashed -I think the issue with the rings is that Tails and Knuckles also had a set. Sure it wasn't explained in the film, but Knuckles had a set (as shown by going to the Mushroom Planet and to the lone island) and Tails had some (to get to Earth) -Whilst it did drag on, at least they were able to somewhat redeem Maddie and Rachael who basically did nothing in the first film -Whilst I like Stone as a character, it kinda felt like both he and Wayne were just, there -Knuckles was pretty much a rival of Sonic, strength vs speed, but then when Shadow came along, Knux just was folded into being a core cast member, alongside Sonic, Tails and Amy -The Chaos/Master Emeralds are just... weird. They do whatever the plot demands it. The games don't even explain much but they are the literal manifestation of Chaos and either are just sources of power or have more plot related things such as warping space time. -I think at least for the sequel, they did hint at Stone being there at the conversation about what they found, so possibly he'd take over Robotnik's role -I will say in the tie-in pre-quill comic (yes that is the name), they have teased more characters like the Chaotix. I feel like at least with the sequel we'd have Amy and a certain jewel thief to help out and maybe tangle up with Knuckles (although I fear the internet) -We had a game release last year which had a tie in with Movie stuff, but that was a re-release of a Wii game, Forces was the last main series game and we have Frontiers releasing later in the year that aims to be open world, and after seeing this film I have faith in it So anyway, next time we meet up, either one or both I'll probably show the animated Sonic OVA movie, that is a bit more wholly closet to the earlier games
