Great video man, very informative. My timing belt broke and it might have bent some valves. Was checking videos about replacing valves and came across yours. Mine is a Hyundai accent 2002.

If your taco is running rough then this very well may be culprit. The pigtail comes loose often. Or breaks.

Ya,there was alot you didn't show of the process. Like Pilot Bearing replacement,Throw out bearing replacement, aligning the new clutch disc removing & reinstalling the clutch fork & attaching to the throw out & the 5 places to grease the fork,greasing the input shaft splines. Not a very detailed video. Kinda half ass as far as I'm thinking.

My driver's axle on my 01 sienna has some up/down play inside the diff. I can't find any information if this is normal or not. It is not the CV joint but the female spline part inside the transmission moves up & down. Does

I just purchased a 2008 Honda Odyssey 3.5. I can smell that it burns some oil when it heats up. When is the last time you changed the plugs in your Odyssey. That is the next step for me. Thanks for the video

You don't have to remove the alternator. Take out the radiator fan. It's so much easier. Just 2 10mm bolts, Fan wire and the resovoir hose holding it there. You can thank me later

That vehicle probably had some work done on the timing. The engine cover is supposed to have gasket maker around the mating surfaces. The person that put it together probably neglected the gasket maker.

Can this be done from the front? I am doing a head refreshment, head is off now and I will be taking the block off, transmission hopefully can stay in the truck, mine is a 2000 Toyota Tacoma with 5 speed transmission ---- or ----- for this job the whole transmission needs to be out WITH the engine? I wonder how "easy" it would be to align the crankshaft to the transmission once the engine goes back into the bay; I would guess tilting it a little guiding the shaft in, center then lowering in place; right now i have around 8 inch clearance with the radiator off, could be more if i chose do the timing cover and all it goes with after the engine is back in the bay; there are really no information on how to go about this. I do have a lift but it is occupied with a van in worst condition it would take me a while to get it off if i would be using the lift which would have been ideal for this job. Any input greatly appreciated.

That's pain in the butt!!! But one review take tire off!! I will certainly check that. Truck stalls occasionally… see if that solves it before going into electrical. Thank you for sharing.

Love the reverse cooling design, if thermos sticks, it sticks OPEN, low temp warning comes on. Better than the old way of blowing everything to hell! Thanks nascar! Go ahead, change the hose! Use Peak GM Orange Dexcool, mix 50/50 with distilled water, no more issues. Burp it, folks!

Buddy if you got a Phillips head screw holding that on that means you're missing the actual snap ring and retaining spring that were designed to hold that stuff in and somebody put a screw in it instead

Very nice commentary style..crisp and to the point. Excellent camera views of key things.. Much better if 1. Go over in detail the anti rattle clips at each end of the pad, which in package goes where, how to slide them into place, ... 2. What needs to be cleaned..wire brush, brake clean, and which doesnt 3. Comment on that stupid incomplete circle wire that stiffens the boot on the piston 4.State the mm size of the bolts. 5. Say something about hanging the stuff with a coat hanger bungi cord etc and protecting the brake fluid hose 6. Better description of the whole piston puah back/open (or not!) The master cylinder. I liked the presentation style alot...which is why i bothered to take the time to add these comments....thank you rtcook

Thanks for the video... quick question...what's the blackened (burned/charred) looking thing at the 00:03:30 minute mark? You mentioned carb spray will loosen it and the coolant will flush it out...can you explain how that works (in detail please)? Thank you.
@fixergood
@fixergood 2 ай бұрын
@salvadormiranda8029 it's just residue from the coolant leak that has dirt and oil mixed with it that makes it hard to tell if it's leaking on the future.
