How about my friend, when you bought your bike, it did not have a noise in the part of the upper hub where the rear shock is held, that is, in the upper hub, not in the swingarm, and if so, or you did not count on that noise Do you know how I can remove it from my bike?
@herodirt4694 Жыл бұрын
Hey! I'm assuming you mean where the rear shock mounts to the down tube? If so then yes I did have some noise, a slight knocking noise which just turned out to be that the bolt was slightly loose from the factory and allowed some play. Just tightened it up and it was sorted. Other than this you can pull your shock out and inspect the mounting hardware and see if there is anything missing or in bad shape there. Those are the only 2 things I can imagine would cause a noise in that region other than an unlikely crack in the frame near the mount

Lekker. Both lines are good in their own right. The jury is still deliberating about which I prefer more. I guess I'm just going to have to go ride them both some more to see what the outcome would be.

How is it uphill? (teeth of cassette and crankset) i often have to pedal uphill.

its not as bad as you would think having the aggressive geometry. was a mission in the beginning but once the fitness catches up its not bad. We do around a 17-18km ride on the weekends where +- 40% is steep ascent. Cassestte is 12s, 10-51t SLX very snappy and the bike pedals well. Its big talent is definitely descending but it gets you to the top no problem! kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y563f2iolLJnh5o&ab_channel=HeroDirt

Nice. That line looks much tamer on the video than it really is. Still worth the effort though.

This bike is my dream! Awesome!

Thanks! It is a great bike, still excites like day 1. Beware the climbing is quite the effort but its descending and jumping capabilities make up for it seven-fold. The massive amount of suspension is the dream and very forgiving. Casing a jump that would usually feel like your bike is about to explode and send you to your grave feels like nothing more than another bump in the road

Great video, but why do you cut out some of the sections of the trail between the big jumps? It would be cool to see the whole trail, since it's not that long a descent.
@herodirt46942 жыл бұрын
I plan on doing a full length run vid. Its just that i would want it to be "flawless" run, which means i need to run the trail a few times and take the best one but the climb is unfortunately ..... extreme.... so i am limited by fitness🤣 Maybe this weekend👍 but will definitely upload the full trail soon

@@herodirt4694 Cool, yes, I've been managing 3 runs a day when I go down there, but more than that is a stretch. Think I did 4 runs 2 weeks ago, but I was wrecked afterwards! Resenting all the e bikes that cruise past as I'm pushing up that climb!
@herodirt46942 жыл бұрын
@@ShreddySteve thats impressive, my legs are toast after 1 run and abit of sessioning under the tree section 🤣. The clash is also not the lightest bike. While it does the job to get you to the top it takes alot more energy than im use to on my trail bike.

What was going on there on the rear mech? These trails look super fun. I haven't been out there yet but I think this year I must go check it out. Thanks.

Chain jumped off off the last gear, seems like there's not enough tension from the derailleur. They are incredibly fun. This was just one of the lines but there are a few more including a section before this that has an additional 2 lines. Definitely worth the trip! Can be slightly confusing at first as some of the signs are very weathered . But the best part is that if you are use to climbs like Contermanskloof, Hoogekraal then this climb is a stroll in the park. About 5 minutes of climbing from the start to the point where the video begins so good effort vs reward

Very cool video, you were flying down some sections. You should really revisit now. I have completed the bottom section of Klipwerf and the entire network has been given a pre-holiday prep which is nothing short of a major revamp on some sections and the trails are running so good now!

Thanks a mil! Was out there last Sunday. Noticed its even faster and the step-up is open! They are running amazing much appreciated. We have another video out from last Sundays shred , quite a bit faster and someone almost eating dirt off the river kicker :) : kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJyTiZKiqtqofbc&ab_channel=HeroDirt

Nice run Josh. The trail looks super fun. The top pedally bit is somewhat debateable. And Sam is coming along nicely with her jumping skills. Well done to her too. I am also not so sure about those last few corners...mmmmm Still, overall this is a lekker addition to the local trails to get the flow fix sorted without needing to drive very far.

The video starts after the initial pedal, there is an extra bit before where the video starts that you need to pedal through. The wind really kills off your speed near the bottom but overall good fun!
