This soundtrack is so good. This is the one game back in the day I wanted to play but didn't get the chance to.

I still own this game though it doesn't work anymore. I just keep it for sentimental value.

Game underrated as fuck. It had really solid mechanics for its time too. Anyways you can emulate this game no problem, so there's no need to worry about it's availability.

Brings back some rather fond memories of playing this on my Brother's PS1 back in the day, and now have my own mint CIB copy that means so much. This is how I got introduced to action RPG's, and still remains a favorite to this day. This soundtrack sends that 90's nostalgic chill down my spine.

For a short final dungeon, Hades was pretty unsettling- You find out a lot that really turns thing on its head. More so, as you clear your way through the chambers, the mastermind taunts you with the history of the world you thought you knew, what happened in the past, using manipulation and subtlety to make your friends suffer. It feels like a rusty knife scraping flesh- He knows it's the truth, he relishes seeing your friends' hope turn to despair before his eyes. He would break them, then break you...

Where the whole soundtrack comes full circle and the introductory theme reprises above a more grandiose arrangement, the perfect cadence at the end of an epic journey. I miss the late 90s so much.

Though my childhood and early adult life was traumatic, I am so happy to have had games such as this that acted as a beacon. Something to bring a smile and still does to this day. Really don't make them like this anymore! <3

Don't know the game, but what i heard i already liked

It was briefly the number 1 game in Japan back in 1997 and had some limited success in the U.S., basically an early generation PS1 RPG from the same era as Final Fantasy VII but with a then revolutionary approach to the combat scenarios. Sadly the graphics were very blocky looking due to the limits in successfully rendering the characters movements, which likely hurt its sales long term. It had an excellent storyline and an exquisite soundtrack, but it just didn’t catch on. I played it extensively back in high school, still occasionally revisit it.

The Granstream Saga was almost an unofficial sequel to Terranigma, it was made by the same team (Quintet) and came out about 2 years after.

Such a tragic, lost gem. If only I could find a copy of this in decent condition that doesn't charge over a hundred pounds.
@tuomas_knives4 жыл бұрын
If you really want to play it, you could install it for free for ps1 emulator on pc, you can find tutorials and everything by searching on google. I don't know if that's your intention in getting the actual game. I actually have one copy of this game, in a semi decent condition, that's how I played the game first, I'm not planning on selling it or getting rid of it any other way though.

@@tuomas_knives Wish I had that foresight, how I regret selling some of my old games! >< And sadly I do not have a PC, don't care for them and have bad luck with them.
