Hello; I purchased Pro Tools around 2012, & am somewhat of a casual user. I got the perpetual license with a year support 12-31-18, but am having some issues with my Alienware computer. If it get's scrubbed at the repair shop, will I be able to reload my perpetual license, without too much issue? I have the registration card with the code. Again, I use it sparingly, but hope to get more involved with it someday.

There have been many advancements in Pro Tools since 2018. I wouldn't recommend using a version that old. I would suggest upgrading to Pro Tools Studio. They are running a special right now.

Is there a way to trim/adjust the individual speaker sources? Similar to how the Mackie Big Knob allows?

Not speaker sources, but speaker destinations. There are trim knobs on the back for A, B, and C.

I would think that a multiband compressor would do the same thing, but with a lot more control.

This is specific to bass and bass frequencies so it's a lot easier to use than a multi-band compressor. It's more targeted. 👍

I like to do my tracks at -6 peak normalization. I only use true peak in mastering.

Is your version mastered when you uploaded it. Meaning was the side that said orginal a non mastered version vs mastered version. And then the you mastered it and compared it to mixea?

Thanks for this concise video. @7:41 the point that ProTools considers outputs as "buses" it's super important to people coming from other DAWs - where outputs are considered just that, "outputs". ... You can use MME. If you don't see ASIO, you might need to install ASIO4ALL. If you aren't using an audio interface, then you likely won't see ASIO.

The learn button is meant for the part of the audio you want to create the curve for. It’s not learning to correct. It’s misleading.
