Im 6'4 and my accord sits me comfortably. An amazingly boring car that does its job. Same issue with the steering wheel. I have the bare bones model and my radio very much picks and chooses when it wants to work. The CD player used to work and the backlight died a while back too.

So far pretty cheap compared to my girlfriends 2019 Sentra. I'm getting close to 150k miles, but I bought the car around the low 100k mark. So far I've done all the oil changes myself every 10k miles, about $30-40 each. I've replaced the battery once to perform better in the cold for about $200 I replaced the tires for the first time since I bought it, they got swapped out and aligned last year for around $1,000 Recently replaced my serpentine belt myself for like $15 I believe I got my brake pads replaced a little after I bought the car, I don't remember the price but my grandpa did that for me one Christmas as a gift There's a common problem with this generation of Accord where the knock sensor needs replaced. I have no main issues other than the sensor just needing replaced, had a buddy who's a mechanic check it out and says everything is good. I bought the replacement sensor for about $60, just waiting for the weather to get a little cooler before I start working on that. The last thing I think I have to do is just replace my spark plugs since I'm getting to that point in the cars life. Won't be too pricey for that. Everything else is just small, like windshield wipers, windshield washer fluid, power steering fluid, air filters, and a few other normal stuff.

Try taking it on some twisties. Maybe you will actually start liking the accord. These cars or any honda to be honest they have quite good grip so they can handle the turns quite well and thus resulting in a nice driving experience.

Unfortunately I live in Wichita Kansas, 99% of the roads here are straight lines. There's the occasional on/off ramps on the highways but that's about it.

I have this car same color but mine is 2006 i bought it like 5 years ago with 80,000 miles now it has 138k it’s been really reliable other than basic things going out like my starter and basic maintenance. It’s boring inside but very easy to drive and good work car I wish I would of had the fully loaded one tho I have the base lx but still love it.

I had a 2004 and a 2008 Honda Accords. Got over 200,000 miles on both. This may be your average commuter car but Honda and especially the Accord, they are some of the most reliable cars. You will have to replace some parts as you get they get older (like every other car) but they are reliable. I went with a Subaru this time and regretting it. It’s been in the shop alot. Plan on going back to a Honda Accord with my next purchase.

Currently on my second seventh gen accord. My first one was a 07 se 4cyl my current one is a 06 exl 4 cyl. At first I hated the leather in my exl but I’ve grown to like it . The only 7th gen’s I’ll buy are the 06-07 refresh I personally think that 03-05 are ugly in the rear. I think the refresh is ugly with the factory tail lights but with the hybrid tail lights it looks cleaned up. These cars love going through ball joints that’s about the only major mechanical issue I had so far and a water pump . Other than that I never had to do engine or transmission work to either besides spark plugs and oil changes. The 2.4 is superior because it’s a chain driven engine not belt like the 3.0 and the automatic doesn’t grenade itself like on the v6. Both engines are good engines but the v6 is a lot more maintenance and stuff to go wrong. I would love to get my hands on a 06-07 v6 hybrid model though. Boosted power on the v6 plus the fuel efficiency of a 4.

DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE I HAVE A 2007 HONDA ACCORD SE, 4 CYL, 2.4 L, 51K MILES THAT HAS A BUZZING NOISE FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH, THERE IS A WATER LEAK IN THE TRUNK, THE HOOD HAS A MINOR RUST SPOT AND PAINT IS CHIPPED ON RIGHT FRONT FENDER, I AM 6 FT 2" AND THERE IS NOT ENOUGH ROOM FOR MY FEET, AND NOT ENOUGH ROOM FOR FOR MY HEAD. MY HEAD IS TOO CLOSE TO THE FRONT WINDSHIELD AND THERE IS A MILDEW SMELL IN THE HEATER VENTS. TRANNY ALSO HAS STRANGE WINING NOISE. DO NOT OVERPAY FOR A HONDA ACCORD. I ALSO NOTICED WHEN THE HEAT IS ON THROUGH THE A/C VENTS THAT IT IS SO HOT IT BURNS YOUR HANDS. EVEN WHEN THE NON CIRCULATE IS ON AND THE HEAT IS OFF I CAN STILL FEEL HOT AIR COMING FROM THE A/C VENTS. IN ADDITION THE CAR DOOR LOCKS DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY LOCK WHEN YOU PUT THE SHIFTER INTO DRIVE AND THEY ALSO FAIL TO UNLOCK WHEN THE CAR IS IN PARK AND THE ENGINE IS SHUT OFF. THE RELIABILITY FROM THE 1980S OF A HONDA ACCORD IS JUST NOT THERE ANYMORE. YOU WOULD SAVE A LOT OF MONEY BY BUYING A 2004-2007 CHEVY MALIBU

The 2007 7th gen end of line honda accord is possibly going to become a timeless classic if it hasn't already. I would bulk buy wear and tear service items for it and keep this until you literally have to replace the engine block. It's the step up from a camry if you can't afford an older Lexus - which also is ridiculously more expensive to maintain and for parts. This car literally should easily last 30+ years if you look after it. One day people will want this version of accord as they simply went backwards until 2015 and that's double in price. Keep don't sell.

@michaelangelo5783 I know the two share the same parent company hence i made the comparison. You don't have to believe me but you'll get YOUR arse price pumped with no lube when to go to buy the "Lexus" parts vs any comparable Toyota equivalent. Anywhere on the world.
