Did the hard board bend and not break. I tried and the hardboard broke on the tight radius

It did not break, my strips were 4” wide and I had no problem with it bending over the arch.

Pool shop said pump and motor were done. "Doesn't look good." They wanted almost $1,400 for a single speed motor and pump plus labor. Robbery! Turned off the breaker, removed 2 screws, removed capacitor cover, safely discharged old capacitor with a screwdriver, and ordered one off Amazon with the same specs for $10. Problem solved!

You cut the arches with the jigsaw, the rest with the saw, the jigsaw cut is thinner than the saw blade. Did it not affect you when assembling?

The difference was less than 1/6” of an inch so I sanded down the sides and the minor gaps were filled in with silicone caulk

Hi thank you for sharing this video and can you please let me know what kind of of wood did you use for the sides? It looks so bendable and easy to work but you didn’t specify what kind of plywood is it Thanks 😊

I used 1/2” birch plywood for the arches and 1/8” hardboard from Home Depot..hopefully this helps

How do you know how to cut the bottom part. I’m a beginner sorry
@SpinningwrencheswithJ
@SpinningwrencheswithJ 3 ай бұрын
Once the whole thing has been completed, lay it on its back then take a measurement of the width and length. (Of the bottom part)Cut a rectangle piece of wood attach it to the bottom with either nails or screws and then use a router to cut the excess material. If you don’t have a router you can use a jigsaw too, even a hand saw 🪚 But a router is the way to go and easier. I hope this helps.!!

FYI, you can make a circle and mark it really easy using a chalk line string. It would take the guess work out of it and would make a perfect circle no matter what size you're wanting.
