1:51 Estos Gringos solo desinforman. Eso es un FESTIVAL DE SEMANA SANTA en honor al santo patrono del pueblo SAN JUAN BAUTISTA. Juan Aquino de la Vega fue un rebelde del siglo XVII que desafió a los hacendados españoles, de quienes robaba el oro para dárselo a los desamparados. Una especie de Robin Hood al estilo mexicano. De él se dice que falleció al enfrentarse con las tropas virreinales, luego de que lo descubrieran robando y eso se juntó con la historia de San Juan Bautista, quien protegió al pueblo minero de los ladrones de aquellos tiempos. El festival tiene mas de 400 años de celebración.

1:51 She's WRONG. Juan Aquino de la Vega was a colonial person, a sort of Robin Hood of the current Mexican state of Guanajuato. He stole from the richer Spaniards and local miners to give to the poor, which is why he was popularly sanctified at the time of his death and his history was merged with the story of San Juan Bautista, who protected the mining town from the thieves of those times. This EASTER/Holly Week festival has been celebrated year after year since 400 years ago.
