What if the wound is yellow? My stitch came out my wound is not fully healed yet and the colour is yellow it's not painful a thick yellowish layer in inside the wound Should I worry?

This was, believe it or not, the most useful, fact based explanation Ive found on YT so far. Im trying to help a elderly pet with infection at surgery site. And yes Ive been to the vet. This just helps me interpret and understand what Im seeing and not seeing, and treat at home most effectively .
