Manoochehr is a gem. We have had a few who mastered playing the Iranian instrument " Santur" and he is the only one alive. I knew the other great player of this instrument who passed away and they were our neighbor in Tehran, Mr. Faramarz Payvar. We are lucky Manoochehr still is alive and playing.

Im so pleased to see you active online again ostad Sadeghi, I'll never forget your performance with my sitar teacher Ustad Imrat Khan sahab this same year 2003, that was my first time hearing a Persian instrument, now I play Tar! Looking forward to hearing your heavenly music more.

Sadeghi Santur's are NOT manufactured by Manoochehr Sadeghi. Unfortunately they are the lowest quality Santur's made in Iran and they do NOT represent my father in any way. They just use his last name to make their instrument popular. They use low grade woods and have no clue on how to build a quality instrument. Do NOT buy these Santur's. They do not stay in tune and sound horrible.

No they just use my name to sell their Santur’s and unfortunately they are not very good sounding and I wish they would at least make them better if they are going to continue to use my name.
