13 mm is the size of the bolt head on most if it is a stock or original bolt to the axle.

Get yourself one of those gimbals with the suction cup mounts. You can cheat by getting a gimbal that has stabilization and keep using the older GoPro rather than spend a fortune on a new one or "ones" as you will need more for this type of video. Living in the NW I'm used to snow and mud, just kind of interested in how you boys and girls out W handle these situations ^^ (Edit). Another thing you may want to look into is off-road lights for your rigs, which will help with filming and doing the actual jobs after dark.

I just subbed, with any luck you get more recommendations. I'll try to help you grow so you can get the extra money you need for new gear. Doing recoveries gets expensive, yes I used to drive a tow truck back a few years ago to help pay my way through college as an old man lol.

Great video ! I had a similar incident happen when I was 18 in my first cj7, went up a steep muddy trail and there was a log down at the crest, I couldn't get over it so I started to back down. I then slid to the right an something popped my side hardtop window out and stopped me dead, we got out to look . it was a marker pole for the gas company that was shaped like a candy cane ,it was in the window opening and hooked on my roll bar. 3 hours later with 2 cable come alongs ,and a chain block and tackle, and it was out . I didn't even break the glass with all the mud and rain around the seal it just popped out and fell against the tail gate ,but it did Crack the hard top lesson learned.
