I have this one and the Duro. I love them both, but I like this one a bit better. Solar powered, and the lume does last longer and is brighter on this one than the Duro. I also put a metal Casio band on this version, and swapped bands on my Duro to a nice silicone with white stitching. But this is my everyday. Casio just rocks. You can't go wrong either way. Idc if the bezel doesn't move on this model. I don't use bezels, and I'm no diver, but I do love Diver watches. ALSO... The date is MUCH easier to read on this one compared to the Duro...

Just got one however I wish i had ordered it in a positive display. You need perfect light condition to read the time.

Could you take the face and movement from the MTP-S110 Solar and put it into the case of the Duro MDV106-1AV?

I've got 3 of these, and I love them...very vintage tele sound. But the sunburst model I have has a much thinner neck than the green one, and its about 2 pounds heavier, with a very substantial feel. I grabbed 3 cause the price dropped to $139 for about an hour on Amazon. Glad I did, the price went back up to $170 on the burst and back up to $199 on the other colors. Thanks for this review!

It's the best one that is still available, but I wish they would update it with a countdown timer like the old DBC-150 had.

I have the same one, use it when doing sports, cycling and traveling, because world time and can swap the display by traveling. Solar makes a Toyota of this watch. Also love the new Models , Save the earth

I absolutely love how this watch looks. I won't mention the incredible hi beat movement since it's already been aptly described by other viewers so I'll simply note the aesthetics. I can't help but see a 007 James Bond motif. The dial is hypnotic, has a gun metal finish and (almost) looks like the inside of a gun barrel. And a really cool design detail is that the infinity logo on the second hand offset appears directly above the "Precisionist" line at 6 o'clock on every sweep. Also from the right angle, the hour hand resembles an elongated tuning fork. The date with white background is also perfectly proportioned with clear black print contrast. Lastly, the 22m lug to lug gives the casing a wide stance that looks stately and classic. At sub $200 USD on Amazon, I don't have to worry about damaging it and can wear daily.

TBH ive the CA-53 DBC32-1A and DBC-611 & love em all but tend to wear the DBC-32 the most due to its legability bigger LCD display..Although my fav is the DBC-611 ...CA-53 is just iconic must have ....Great review..

Also, for people looking at the Indiana Jones watch, a much better deal is the Frank Sinatra My Way watch from Bulova. Similar size with a small second hand also quartz but a deployment class hire Crystal and Cass skin leather strap for about half the cost.

Considering that Indiana Jones is also a veteran of World War I and World War II, I think the Hamilton khaki field would be a perfect choice for him as not only is a period accurate, those things are designed for you to beat the ever living crap out of

I've been considering (as I don't have 10k to drop on the original) one of several NTTD homages. Currently the Watchdives WD007 is the front runner and about $50-100 cheaper than the Heimdallr depending on which route you take to purchase. The WD is closer in appearance to the original which might give some pause for thought whereas the Heimdallr has that in its favour if your prefer something less of a direct copy. Well balanced review of the watch, enjoyed listening to your opinion.

I finally found the upgrade to my F91W. Storing passwords when traveling overseas. Currency exchange function. Dual time. That is all folks. I was previously looking for thermometer/compass, but protreks and gshocks are huge. Stepcounter is cool function, but you could just buy a very simple podometer. The data capacity on this watch, I suddenly find, make this model extremely unique.

If it’s not marked water resistant, Casio doesn’t even approve of rain. But I’ve changed the battery on similar models, it has a thin o ring that ought to provide minimal water resistance

I’ve owned mine for just over a year. It doesn’t get worn much. The crystal is a total fingerprint magnet and somehow looks greasy all the time. My other sapphire watches aren’t nearly as bad. It’s too big for a dress watch. It’s very comfortable and mine got a good fit but some people might want a longer clasp with more adjustment holes.

They look great, has the perfect size for average sized wrists.

I was ready to buy this one...but after seeing you shaking it to wind... I just gave up!

Im definitely getting one of these for my G-Shocks and my Wavecepter, which hasnt displayed a full charge since I owned it. I don't have a window with good sunlight, especially in the winter. Not sure why I didn't think of this before.

PacParts in the US sells straps, bezels, and all parts Casio for protreks and g shocks and calculators etc. even strap adaptors so you can install one piece nato straps.

Excellent presentation with your channel .. I like it as well the Orient Bambino looks very nice. The mineral crystal is good just would have liked as a greater choice a sapphire crystal even with an extra charge of $30 U S dollars or so. I am a watch collector and have 6 Orient watches and many other Chinese and Japanese watches. San Martin and Seestern - Phoibos as well.. Thank you Sir for your excellent presentation. The Invicta Pro Diver saved my marriage.

I have worn an Invicta Auto Pro Diver everyday for the past 20+ years. I have had just about every dive watch made at one time or another including Hamilton, Bulova, Omega, Rolex, Orient, Bal, etc. I think the Invicta is as good or better than any of them. INVICTA!🫡👍💪

The Invicta Pro Diver Automatic 40mm. is the greatest achievement in the history of watchmaking. IMHO.

There's a little gap between the case and the strap in my GA-B2100. Due to the gap, the watch is little bit wobbly while holding in hand. Is it normal ?

All they've added to a very old design is Tough Solar and Bluetooth??? Why not design a new watch to put those in and last year I purchased the New Glide with the MIPS screen had to change the battery after 6 months and Bluetooth is useless for syncing you time to watch and only useful for having high tide alerts or low tide, and the only thing thats good is the MIPS screen better than any negative display bar none, even can see it partial light but 2 years battery lol and no Radio 6 or Solar, I just wish Casio would bring out a bog standard 5610 with MIPS screen no heart rate monitor on it making thick and painful to wear bog standard 5610 with MIPS screen and I would be happy although I'm wearing at the moment a Casio Lineage Ani-digi full titanium imported watch only made for the Japanese Market which I love to bits but if they brought out bog standard 5610 with MIPS screen I'd buy one in a shot, sorry for the long drawn out speech...

I acquired one of these watches (used) from an ebay seller. When I pulled the crown to set the watch, the crown simply came out of the watch case. The watch ran OK, but it was a challenge to set it. I opened the back to hopefully see why the crown fell out and to possibly fix it. No luck, so I returned the watch and received a full refund. I still want one of these precisionist movement watches but after my experience with the crown, I'm holding off until I'm convinced it was a one-off malfunction. Not being a screw down crown makes me suspicious of this being a common failure. For the record, I have two Accutron's, one I purchased in 1974 (model 218) and is in pristine condition. I only wear it for special occasions. The other is a Railroad grade 215 which I wear more frequently. Love my hummers!!

I own the quartz version its a nice rolex homage but i accidentally adjusted the band a little too snug and could feel circulation cut off in my hand so i replaced it with a sliding adjustable clasp from a casio a168 and its more comfortable and dont need to take links out to adjust and i can just get a replacement band for the casio

I genuinely can not figure out how to remove the links. I’m using my tool to try to pop the screw out and it’s not working
