I have similar issues like when my mac goes to sleep if i press power button sometimes it just goes black and i had to shut down and then on then it works but sometimes I close and then open again also works how this happens ?

I spilt coffee with lots of sugar on my MacBook Air keyboard. Unplugged immediately then dried it off. But I googled what to do and it said put it upside down in tent formation. Now I’m at work and it’s been like that for 4 hours so I won’t be able to put it flat to dry until I get home. I tried turning it off but it kept turning back on and then it finally turned off but flashed pink for a second…I googled what that meant and it’s apparently the screen of death? Ugh! 😩

Hey, hopefully you can help. I run windows 10 on myid 2013 11in macbolm air with the core i5 and 4gb ram. On windows partition, it says usb port overcurrent detected. On usb viewer it says that port 11 overcurrent and its linked to port 2. On mac partition, it doesnt say anything. My left usb port will charge things but wont read my usb stick. Other port is fine. Why does it only give me a warning on the windows partition?

i have a macbook air m1 2020 model.. have the same issue.. i shared your channel to the technician.. he tried, but he says my model is different than what you have shown , but it has not been repaired it. The screen works till an angle of about 80 degrees and that too only when i open the screen in an extremely slow pace with lot of patience.. looking forward to some inputs how i can repair.. the technician says i will have to replace the screen, but its too expensive

It is a manufacturer defect which should be covered by Apple but greedy apple charges over $800 taking one or two months. I had this issue for unibody laptop and macbook pro laptop before. I decided NOT BUY apple. Now I am using linux os, not MAC OS.

I have a question. I spilt water on the keyboard, and then after a bit of panic I turned it off and then put it in the tent position for a few hours, then I came across this video and then I tried to move it, and the laptop turned on just from the little movement. I turned it off and then tried to put it in the position you said and obviously because the keys are pressed it fucking turns on again. Idk if it I’m not turning the laptop off properly, because I held down the fingerprint on/off button until it turned off (it is a MacBook air M1 chip). This is how I saw everyone else turn it off through the other videos. So my question is how do you expect me to put it in that position in a situation where the laptop has not died completely? Please if anything I’m somehow not shutting the laptop off properly, but then tell me how to. I am just very annoyed that after watching this video and trying whatever to put it in a different position I may have fucked up my laptop even more because I ran electricity through multiple times. I would appreciate a fast response. Thanks.

quick summary for people who just spilled water. MOVE QUICKLY and calmly 1. Unplug everything 2. wipe away all visible water quickly 3. turn it off ASAP 4. Lie the laptop down keyboard facing down. Upside down L formation, not a tent. On a table or edge with the keyboard down and the screen hanging. 5. leave it there for a day, maybe two and Keep the laptop off the whole time 6. after a day or two, go to someone ask them to open it up and check if there’s anything damaged

Fucking hell I had a can puncture in my backpack a few days ago and was most worried about the charger as it was soaked but it worked after being in rice, but my MacBook seemed fine after. Just put it on the charger and it wouldn’t charge best I can get is it registering but battery not charging. I hope yhe fact I didn’t try to charge it until 3 days after it happened. I did pull it out of my backpack to dry

Hi Hamad. Thank you. You've identified my problem for me. It started with those stage lights at the bottom and slowly, eventually (unfortunately) my screen went black forever. So the problem then was the backlight cable. If the screen has gone black does it mean the whole cable needs to be replaced? Can this simply be replaced instead of your soldering fix? It was only a year ago that I replaced the whole screen. Perhaps all along it was the cable which was faulty and not the screen (because although the screen was replaced the new one has gone black again)?

Great vid, specially for how to install a new trackpad. I just installed new speakers. Risky business. Now the trackpad is jumpy, and the battery is not charging. How easy is it to damage the battery/logic board connection? The battery was fairly new, installed 3 months ago and was normal up until I finished the speaker installations and plugged in the power. So to summarize, the battery is not charging and pulling off the magsafe connector shuts the machine down instantly.

Ok soo my MacBook Pro 13 had had screen replaced,two weeks ago and now after I play some music on KZbin the image goes black but hase some lines too,you can still hear the music but no image.I can lay with the lid nothing happened unless I close the lid all the way down,the music stops and I put up the lead and the image is back for another 3-4 minutes....after that it goes again black...what can be the problem?is new screen just has two weeks old...
