I have heard that a sailboat with both pointy front and back, like a canoe, is more stable with a windvane autopilot.

How did you construct the stem? Steam bend or scarf joint?

16 footer were enough to be big hull for cabinless sailboat. now I've found my own interesting templates and it is a cabin-based pocket-class sailboat to virtue my own integrated blueprint but only a place, money and the worktables are absent from my environment so far

Hey Kristo. I'm also building a Petrel. I have a few questions for you because you are more advanced in this topic. :) You have used 10mm plywood according to the project or thinner? What density of glass cloth did you use 150g / sqm? What epoxy did you use?

Nice job but if you had built it with the "stitch and glue" method, you could have completed it in 1/5th the time and the build would have been MUCH easier.

Congratulations Kristo! for his initiative to film the construction stages and make it available on youtube. I was so interested that I looked for construction plans, but on the indicated link it seems that they are no longer available. Could you pass a new possibility to find, like another link? The project name? Specifications? other details, etc ... It's been a long time since your last post and I hope everything is fine with you. I congratulate you again! Marcos-Brazil-South America.
