So sad to watch,but everything is repairable ,I wouldn’t give up on her as the car means so much to you,pretty sure can still get a jig attachments so the damage can get pulled 👍

Thanks - everything is for sale, about half of it already gone. Got a fibreglass bonnet and lightened boot, drivers door left on the bodywork front….

Cool camera angle Nick! I may have to try that one. So did the Fiesta move across on the blue clio, so rear quarter to front quarter which put him in the spin? Looks like he went to take the race line but there was still 1ft of Clio there. Big crash!

It was def contact between the driver rear side of fiesta and front passenger side of Clio. Who moved or jinked or took the racing line and all that it’s a tough call. I watched a few other camera angles in race control and the stewards could not decide so I wouldn’t want to say who was at fault. Very glad it missed me and that no one was hurt badly! Have a good Winter of finding a few more horses mate 😉

Great video guys! Awesome driving. Glad I featured in 2nd restart only to bail out of slotting past Carl and the Fiesta ST. Playing it back I could have made it but the fear of wiping down other cars is a bit much at the start of a race.

Ha ha Only just seen my typo ‘dumps’ No change yet to sumps, whatever Ford and Renault fitted is what we have. We did go back to Thruxton this week - see my bonnet lift video 😱

Chris Edge its mostly std, got a cosworth replica inlet manifold, no idea on any power increase as never been on dyno. We have since been again, put better tyres on fiesta, added some rear camber (was very loose), and fixed a few things - left clio the same and we agreed fiesta was far better 2nd time around!

@@nmellor77 looks like the clio was the faster car. Was up your bumper for 10 minutes. Soon as you chased it pulled a bigger gap.

Seems like on most corners you could let the steering unwind sooner and use much more room on the exit to get the power down sooner even including the kerb at Stowe (watching fastest lap this is)

Great footage as always and well held there matey, the 197 lost 3rd & 4th gear one lap before the driver change so I was struggling out of the slow stuff. Look forward to Donny

good race, you had a few good tussles there. And if you look closely at 28:47 in the background (just under the 8 in 2018 on the date on full screen) you can see my engine going bang :-)

Hi Nick. Glad to report Andrew who was driving the 106 or as we are now calling it the 1.06 is ok if a little sore. Thanks to the marshals for their hard work, I would also like to thank Marshal Groves driver of the nova for staying with Andrew after the incident. Regards John (co driver in the 106)..
