My Dad was a bit of a superfan of Tommy. He became disabled in later life so I accompanied him to many gigs, Tommy always came to speak to him, it meant a lot. I'm reminded of him as I'm having an afternoon listening to his records which remind me of my poor old Dad. They're actually nearly worn out they've been played so many times. Great memories

Tommy drew us back to Bude many times. Never knew of gigs in London but recall the BBC dressed him in white tails at a white grand piano with lots of makeup on. Awful thing to do to him.

I loved this bloke! Seen him many, many times. Excellent jazz musician and a superb comedian. There's a video of him somewhere which I can't find. It's where he's going off on one talking about beer. Castlemaine 4X in particular. Does anyone have a link to it?
