Come unto me, all ye that Labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

I just turned 25 and never had a boyfriend either. All I can do is pray for my future husband. 😅 Honestly, I truly don't want to use dating apps.

Aw no please don’t feel that way! My sister and I used to have the same mentality about dating apps until we joined them. My sister matched with her boyfriend 4 years ago and he recently asked my parents’ permission to propose to her at the end of this year. I met my current boyfriend on a dating app as well and we are about to make 2 months together! Of course there are going to be horrible people on there just like everywhere, but I promise you once you weed out the thorns you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful rose. Best of luck! 🌹

I had my very first boyfriend at 22 last year. I was almost 23. My first kiss was at 22 a week before I met my current BF. I too was so depressed and my pillow was soaked with tears because I had lived my whole life, graduated high school and university without a single kiss, holding hands, going on a first date and a boyfriend. I met my now BF on hinge and funny thing is we are the same age and I am also his first GF (although he has had dating and sexual experiences before hand, just nothing serious). I would have never believed my self saying this before, but it was worth the wait. He is loving, romantic, caring, respectful and goes above and beyond for me. It now makes sense why it never worked out with anyone else. Something better will come ladies!

He was definitely intimidated by you . The fact you were so chill with everything triggered him bc like you said he probably thought the jealousy and possessiveness are love languages for a guy like him .. and your confidence threw him off. Been there done that . Men who are damaged play these games bc they insecure and they think the only way a girl shows that she likes them and desires them is by showing jealousy.. Red flag. I wish you the best 🙏🙏🙏 Ps you are so sweet!!!! I love your energy

You’re American so you identifying as Black is fair enough. At the end of the day identifying as Black doesn’t mean you don’t have any European DNA it’s just an identity you have to wear in the US if you look a certain way.

To the women who are in this situation, hear me out [28 male]. I've been looking into the current dynamics between men & women for the last 3 years & I have a perspective that could benefit you. 1. Would you date anyone or do you have a preference? Most have a preference. Guys have come to believe that if they don't match a preference to not even bother trying. By preference, they think you want and won't settle for less than A. 6 pack abs B. 6 figure income or 7 figure+ net worth C. 6ft tall D. HUGE and I mean YUUUUUUUUUUGE pickle. Your perfect man has to have all of the above to have the best chances of NOT being cheated on with someone who has whatever he is lacking. 2. What's your private view of kindness? Synonym= nice. If you claim you want a nice guy who would treat you right, your actions have to match that. If you like jerks, then you'll be played and dumped. 3. A lot of males [myself included] are sick and tired of being rejected repeatedly. We have self worth as you do. Being constantly rejected only to be told to "JuSt Be CoNfIDeNt" hasn't helped and will never help. That's because confidence stems from something. It's like failing the same math test over and over again despite studying. YOU are the complicated equations on the page. "but women aren't that hard" you might be thinking. Oh yeah? Let's try a mental exercise. I'm 6'1, built like an untrained linebacker, and mixed black & white. Imagine I walk up to you and start a conversation. I'm very kind and respectful in my language, but I'm stuttering like crazy. I end by asking for your number. Would you give it to me? Before you answer, just know this is my real life situation as of today. What if my speech was perfect but my shirt was wrinkled? What if my clothes were in decent condition but I have no sense of style and wear sweats and a teeshirt? What if my clothes were decent but I'm not making enough eye contact? Would you still give me that number and unfailingly show up for a date? What if all I did was stare into your eyes and looked nowhere else? I can tell you that despite being in the top 14% of the GLOBAL male population that's over 6 foot, The above has been reasons why I have not gotten a date despite trying. Males have to figure it all out. We have to know the exact moment to approach because we don't know when you have resting b face and when you are actually mad at something. We have to know what to say, how to say it, have the right amount of eye contact. be dressed with a sense of style, and if we eff it up a single time, that little mess up in speech or body language or text will be the reason you ghost us. The average male has tried it all. We watch hours of video content on every seduction system that claims you'd jump the bones of a guy in stained up clothes just for talking the right way. We listen to how another PUA system claims you don't care about money or jawlines or anything shallow. Despite this, the amount of male virginity continues to climb. I still try to just have regular conversations to this day. I end up ghosted or blocked despite doing nothing wrong and guess what? Somehow, it's still my fault. Guys are sick and tired of having everything blamed on them. Women make the rules in f3ministic countries. You make the rules of engagement for guys like me but would happily break them for the guy who doesn't give a damn whether or not you're emotionally damaged after he does something toxic, because you prove by your actions that you hate kindness. Believe it or not, you make it extremely hard to know what to do. For those who want anyone to approach them, you don't actually mean anyone because if you did, I'm willing to bet most of you would be married. It's mathematically impossible for there to be tons of millionaires. Genetics dictate our height and pickle size [which you punish us for even though it's not our fault]. The only thing above that we can do for you is the 6 pack and that takes a ton of work. I've lost 26 lbs with hypothyroidism and still have problems talking to women for a single date. I have better muscles than when I started this time last year and I still have problems. I say all of this to show you that despite what your words say, it's actually extremely difficult for us guys because we have been shown via behavior that we aren't good enough so we stopped trying. Never mind the fear of losing it all in divorce court, being baby trapped, having that baby yanked and child support forced when we never wanted to abandon our child to begin with, but the mother was angry so it's perfectly okay. Your solution is to do the approaching. Ladies will have to fix what's broken because men quit. It's not worth our energy or time when the results are always the same. Another solution is to do the approach and let yourself be datable. It is very easy if you shut down your impossible-to-reach standards. Don't ghost a guy and don't be quick to give up on him. Most women won't be rejected. Look presentable [makeup for most of you isn't required], be kind and make it easy. If you want to be pursued, let him know by your actions that he CAN win. Meaning that if he's showing you a good time, text him at some point in the next 24 hours to set up the next meet. Cook a meal. Do something. Some of you [or someone you know] plays so many games. We hate constant confusion. The world outside of dating is hard enough. Don't be another headache. It's nothing to be proud of. Be attainable not constantly out of his reach. Because nothing the average guy works anymore, we don't approach. Approach the loser or let him continue losing. We are now convinced that we can't win. We can't compete with perfect genetics, or a big bank account. For more information about how guys are seeing women search for male content about women on tiktok. There are clip compilations on here and they are successfully persuading males to give up. Play video games, acquire money and bros, and utilize adult content online because that's safe and won't result in being heartbroken. None of this is a diss. I had to tell another black woman last year about the male perspective and she told me it opened her eyes to things she had to think about. I wrote this as a means to reach out to other women with a male perspective.

It's funny actually seeing them talk about scarcity and how men are in the dating world, because it's the exact goddamn thing men are thinking about too. Like just to pick an example, they talked about men who are either trying too hard, or not at all, the same thing we think about women too, and that lead us to be more in these extreme zones, and same's true for women too. So it's kinda loop, that's getting bigger and bigger each day --- Damn. Also loved the line "You are not dating yourself" haha lovely
