getting an ad on this is potentially one of the most immersion breaking experiences of my whole life

Man this was why people played so loud in the 60's, to combat the talkative and indifferent crowds. Luckily she takes the opposite approach.

I first heard the S&C in 1995, the Nassau record. I was immediately intrigued by what I was hearing! John's drumming was so powerful but delicate and melodic. Sam and Archer's guitar interplay is so unmistakable and original, they compliment each other so well. Eric's tasty basslines fuses all of this together. Sam has a very distinctive voice and lyrical phrasing. They are just pure magic and their body of work is top notch. They've been one of the most unrated and influential bands of the past 30 years. They're like a little secret that not many people know about but should...Thank you for all the memories and brilliant music.

So bummed they made the person filming stop. That was definitely a show worth documenting. I was there, and I recall it being like 3 hours of insane jammed out renditions of their songs. Utterly brilliant

Did these guys literally find a way to get heavier than ever before, in a live setting? When I finally saw them for the first time in Cambridge this year, the devastation was way more harrowing and abundant than I remembered even thinking was true of the videos I’d seen from past years. This video seems to somehow confirm that. All i know is that I won’t soon forget that set. Plus, bonus, nicest dudes ever.

@@scrugmcbuck That doesn't matter as with a 12 string every 2 strings are tuned to the same note. So it adds up to a 6 string anyway and tabs translate.

His drumming on this version is very empathic. Playful. Works with Brian's vocal well too, which is exceptional. They're all on gyre!
