I have the air65. Flies great but will not connect to BF. I have a windows Mac and speedybee. I think the firmware is too high on the air65. I wound up taking to a buddy and it connected on his old windows computer.

I've had trouble with my vtx or camera on air75.. has a horizontal ripple.. I don't have very many analog experience.. and sample size of 1 air75 and 1 mobula6 2024 analog no problems.. what vrx do you have?

This is crazy. Unusual Machines will still supply parts for consumer drones. If the USA doesn’t have cutting edge warfare technology, countries that hate our freedoms (China, Russia, Iran, North Korea) will dominate the world. When they have military superiority, they will use it to blackmail us. We don’t have the option of being second best.

Yes, fpv is a super niche hobby. A business may or may not “survive” with such thin margins. The question is, do you remain a small niche company and barely float by because this is a hobby of enthusiasts and passion? Or, are you hell bent on expanding into a big time vacuous corporation? Idk, it just feels like you’re losing sight of the love for fpv and just trying to be a hot shot business which has never been even remotely the goals of the community. If you want to be a business hot shot, much a field that’s not so niche instead of moving into war profiteering. Just think about it! You get yourself involved in defense contracts and suddenly you are pushing for and excited by the prospect of your country getting into more conflicts because you profit from it! That’s how all the companies who work on defense are. They actively lobby for war and frankly I think war isn’t good for the world. Call me crazy. Your motivations become inhumane. What you’re doing has bigger implications than just ‘good ol American manufacturing! And, “gotta keep the company alive somehow.’ C’mon now. One of our biggest issues is this profits over people/ethics attitude. Sincerely hope they think bigger than just scaling their company more. Disheartened.

Us drone pilots don't wear goggles they use monitors because goggles leave you vulnerable

These are obvious one way long range craft. Its unfortunate that this will cause future legislation that will negatively impact our hobby.

But that war is stupid, we shouldn't be involved!!!! as orange man once said "i want everyone to stop dying!"

GepRC makes a 10” long range quad, advertises payload, but no GPS is on board. Like you’re going to pay all of that money for a 10” quad build, fly long range, but it doesn’t include a $15 a GPS? Wonder what that could be for…

The military has been doing RC since the 1940's, FPV since like the 1980's, I wonder if they whine about us making their weapons into toys.

This has happened during every single war. Companies shift focus from consumer to war grade products.

I hate that we've had to militarize the hobby in order to keep the hobby alive... However, as always, civ gets tech that mil has advanced. Cheap digital because mass manufacturing... while exactly 3:20 , 10" drones are either for Long range (always spotted and waivered) or military "uses" I'm specifically getting a 107, and going 100% legal into business so that I can have a voice for my area and a voice against dumb FAA regs . With built in education and events to my profit/goal plans. I'd rather get whoops in every teenagers hand in my area, have them sim instead of fortnight, get highschoolers a licence that can make them money in almost any job sector they go. I hate where this is going and am doing what I can to help demil our hobby. Even if that means flying only sub250g only. Feeling like a fighter pilot, while never risking your body, or more than 1k finances is well worth it 😅

The 10" is also increasing in demand as more fpv pilots gain interest in cinematic flying, and the payload spec is useful for bigger, heavier cameras. It's become a more popular prosumer product over the last few years. This is NOT to negate your point that the larger fpv drones are also being used in defense sectors. Our new reality is FPV has become a dual/multiple use tool across many industries, very outside of our FPV freestyle hobby.

Secure consumer drones are junk but you can get em cheap and fix them I guess. I think the stack is okay but definitely need returned. Drain man got a vid on there drones. It was a mess to say the least

If you own a car there is a 75% chance the company also manufacture weapons of war. Even Subaru makes attack helicopters.

This is great FPV commentary. If anyone thinks these big payload drones are just like a scaled up 5", take a watch at Drainman's latest video, and you'll see that actually quite a bit of work goes into making our quads fly as well as they do... because his first experience with the Sequre 10" is pretty rough..lol.
