Re Q7: Manchester wasn't actually a city at the time. In fact it wasn't even a borough and returned no MPs to Westminster despite housing a population rapidly heading towards 100,000 (it was sometimes referred to as "the biggest village in England"). The ruckus of Peterloo arose from demands that something be done about this patently absurd situation.

A British 15-year-old here who got 8/40 I'd never studied american history, and didn't know Abraham Lincoln from George Washington, until the 'Making of America' topic for my history GCSE which I've been studying for a month so far. Hopefully I'll know more by the time I finish.
