A couple of years ago I had stubbornly put up with pain for a couple of months in my shoulder, where any attempt at moving it had me in agonizing pain. There were so many things I was unable to do during my day, and it also prevented me from having any decent form of sleep. Finally I went to the doctor, where I was told that it was a frozen shoulder. He disappeared and came back with a stack of papers of what the outcome could be. It could be a few weeks, or months, or years. It would most likely require intense physiotherapy, which may or may not work. If these did not work I may require surgery. After hearing this, I went home feeling numb. As I walked in the door, I glanced for a moment at the front page of these scenarios, but something didn't sit right with me. I gave my life to Jesus about five years prior to this, and the truth of His words in the Bible kept playing over and over in my head. The truth that when He died on the cross for me, He took all of my sins upon himself so that I could receive forgiveness and be restored back into relationship with God, but also that by the stripes that He received upon himself from the beatings that he took, that I was healed - from every sickness, illness, disease and infirmity. So with that knowledge, I chose to stand on the truth of what He said rather than what I was experiencing. On the first day I declared that by His stripes I was healed, and every time I felt pain, I thanked Him for His healing. By the second day, the pain had been halved, and I continued to hold onto his truth, that I was already healed. That it had already been done on the Cross at Calvary for me. And on the third day, I was able to fully raise my arm with no pain at all and praise him for his faithfulness. At the time, I had also been suffering from a hernia, stomach ulcer and polyps, and although I hadn't specifically mentioned these things, I was healed from all of them too. And I have continued to stand on the truth of what the Bible says, that is available to all who believe that Jesus died for them so that they could be saved, healed and delivered, and receive Him as their Saviour. I could have believed what the doctor told me, or been swayed by what I was experiencing, but I chose to believe what I know to be the truth of God's word - and he has continued to be faithful many times more. I thank and give Him all the praise and glory for what He has done for me, and I pray that whoever may read this may come to know the power that is in the name of Jesus for themselves, and that they too will experience his love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, healing and saving power for themselves. May God Almighty bless you.

These doctors suck, dismissive and cold. And 10 min per patient? Ridiculous. Yea socialized medicine isnt the panacea some claim.

Sad that the once proud and superbly functioning NHS is floundering. Hopelessly understaffed with docs poached from 3rd world countries and flooded with far too many patients. WTF is UK govt doing with all the tax money ?!

That GP really should have asked if she would prefer an examination from a female Dr - not just assume she didn’t need examining.

1:26:52 this kinda upset me. Mothers know their kids BETTER than anyone else. This doctor saw this kid for 7 minutes and because she said “I read on the internet…” he immediately dispels it. No sir, what you should do is say there is a small chance and it sounds like he has a couple of the markers, but he’s very young and I’m certainly not an expert in this field- so I’ll tell you what, why don’t we schedule him for some routine testing with the local specialist in that field, because we DO KNOW that the younger kids are diagnosed - the better chances they have in life to adapt & live normal lives. So while I don’t believe he is on the spectrum- that doesn’t mean he isn’t. Come back here after the tests and we will see what the results say, because children whose parents understand them best, have happier lives.” Written from a mom whose son didn’t get diagnosed until he was almost 10. This whole thing upsets me honestly

That weight loss consultation with the first womanwas the least helpful thing I've ever seen. Basically the doctor says "just eat less". YES, WE ALL KNOW THAT. but she needed more support. What she Was doing wasnt working. Very glad I'm not overweight. That would be so annoying

Hello 💚 new here & feeling lost trying to decide on which episode would be most helpful... is there a general theme or random mix of illnesses? 💚 If you could please add some keywords of topics to the title's description (better yet, timestamed chapters naming doctor, patient & illness names) Your curious new viewers from across the pond would be grateful 👋😁 🌍 😉👍
