Can't the degree requirements be adjusted by racial background so that equity in graduation is reached, much in the same way that admissions are scaled for racial background ?

We are not allowed to criticize women for anything, including being pokey in the bathroom. Likewise, we are not allowed to compliment men, including being speedy in the bathroom.

This was an excellent presentation! I just watched it for a graduate class in College Student Affairs and it really resonated with me as a student of color!

Hearing about the 'birth' of academic advising as a field of study is fascinating. More importantly, the review of approaches as linked to different theories on advising was helpful for helping us advisors formulate better approaches for our students.
