That 440 is quick!!! That close one I think goes to the 250… there’s more sunlight between the 440 tires.. no?

There is no replacement for displacement...😁💪
@gregoryfranks734727 күн бұрын
but we all know which one is the coolest and it doesn't have 4 wheels. lol my '86 250r stood up all the time the sprocket, reeds and holeshots made it silly to try and launch. my fourtrax 250r was much more civilized but some ding dong put an extra wheel on it. outstanding video!! cheers

I've owned many 250R that dude is not leaning over the handlebars and start off in second gear
@richardmitton411528 күн бұрын
Hmmm? That's certainly not the best running 250 I've ever seen by a LONG shot! Also seemed like the rear tire pressure was uneven on the 250, causing it to wander when the front wheel was in the air? A well built 250 (port work etc.) would smoke that quad!!!
@dustinb225827 күн бұрын
I think his valve stem caps were half a turn too tight.
@angelocerrato842528 күн бұрын
It's so hard to keep that front end down on a trike. Plus there's no replacement for displacement.
@TheOriginal-BigDaddyPittАй бұрын
Hell yeah!!!! I think with the first 20ft race the 250R beat him by an inch. If you look close you can see a bit more pavement before the line. It’s definitely tight. I didn’t think the Grom/Breeze finish could be beat but it definitely was closer.

The float bowls are not interchangeable, and you installed them on the wrong carb. The bowl with the brass nipple goes on the carb with the choke.
@BansheeJoesАй бұрын
You are 100% correct.. I didn't notice I put the carb bowl on the wrong carb until I edited the video. It has been changed off camera. Good eye!! nobody has picked up on it yet till you did. Thank you for watching.. it very much appreciated..
@mmholling87Ай бұрын
@BansheeJoes everyone gets the bowls & slides mixed up, or they forget to install the choke tube between the carbs or they only clean the main jet or neglect the pilot which is why it won't idle or start. Great job, and I enjoyed watching!

I’m getting ready to tear into a basket case blaster that I’ve had for like 8 years that’s just taking up space. I had a few questions about your surfacing stone. Is it just a normal granite slab or is it a surfacing plate? I’m hoping that I can get away with a top end as far as engine work.
@BansheeJoes2 ай бұрын
@@mkearn724 Hello It's just a piece of graninte. I know a surface plate is what's needed to be done correctly. But if you use small circles it does the job .

I used a breeze for my personal use in the pits at race tracks and riding around in feilds easy on it for years . I'm 225lb. 6ft-1 and it still goes strong. But if you ride it hard obviously it would slowly wear out.
