You know that the foreign subtitles are probably a result of a rerun from another country, however if they WOULD have used English subtitles, it WOULD HAVE WORKED if they were trying to teach English as a second language! This is also the reason why this wasn't dubbed into Swedish, or at least that's what I think the language is!

And it shows. Everybody can do bad keying. Good keying takes some effort(and the right tools).

I remember watching this particular episode with my family, and then my parents rented the movie and we watched it together. Thank you so much for posting it! I liked learning about special effects and how things were done before computerized effects became the norm. This was a great show.

A very fake looking scene in the VAB - up on the gantry in front of the Rocket, but that’s nothing compared to the wooden and unconvincing performance of Tom Hanks.

Crazy how the "Masters" are always people from the early 1900s and before, meanwhile we have walking, breathing ones and most nobody knows their names.

applies with a lot of artists. But matte painters and other VFX fellahs get the short end of the stick because publishers don't want you to think the movies fake

Just as I've always thought. The person who brings light into the eyes of children and makes them smile is truly doing something divine and special. That sense of wonder that you get as a child, can follow you even into old age, and it's magical!
