I did not make plans, just make the width of the bars a little wider than child's hips and make the bars high enough to wear their elbows don't lock fully extended. As far as will these work for an adult, I doubt it will the way I did it. the open end of the bars to allow you to enter would need to be closed. otherwise there won't be enough support. That said, there is a way to do it, just be creative. it's a very cheap project, just get the tees on amazon and the pvc at home depot or lowes.

Thanks for the feedback, she's really a joy, so the encouragement goes both ways. she encourages me with her attitude. As far as being stable enough for an adult, I think they are as long as they're up against something or even anchored to the ground. Her center of gravity is so low that she really doesn't slide that much, whereas an adult would. I had fun making it and it's so simple and affordable. The only expense were the tees we ordered on amazon. It probably totaled $50.
