I'm usually Sz 9M in Adidas Ultraboost and Nike Air Jordans. For the Ball Star, I tried on both EU 41 (8) and 42 (9). I found the 42 to be a little too long. With the elevated hard insoles that GGDB uses, my foot was sliding up. On the other hand with the 41 it was better lengthwise, but too tight and narrow for my liking. Overall, the Ball Star silhouette tends to run a little longer and narrower than normal shoes. Ultimately, I went with EU 41 (8). I figured they would eventually break-in after a few months and mold to my foot. I also did an insole swap and bought the Hefe Luxx comfort starter insoles. Going down one whole size and replacing the thick standard insoles helps to make them fit more normal. If you have wide feet altogether, I would probably just avoid GGDB shoes. They aren't made to be comfortable for wide footers.
