It's amazing how crappy twitch streams look compared to youtube livestreams, plus the amount of buffering and forced ads on twitch make it definitely the sub par plattform to be watching on, if a streamer offers both plattforms.

Not gonna lie, I can't even reach lvl 10. But given that matches start at lvl 18 or 19 these days it is pretty funny :D

Ok nevermind, apparently he is playing PAL Tetris which runs on 50 Hz instead of 60. This would mean the game would just run slower (as pieces can only be updated 50 times a second rather than 60 times). However for Tetris they adjusted the formulas, and due to rounding issues PAL speed at lvl 19 is roughly equivalent to NTSC speed at lvl 29. So Jani was basically playing on the killscreen, which was almost unheard of back then

@@sunung0110This is the PAL version of NES Tetris, and the killscreen happens on lv 19 + is slightly slower than the normal NTSC killscreen at 29.

I’ve read the game boots fine but it’s not playable all the way through. We’re you able to play the whole game? I’ve been replaying the entire series on Deck and Downpour is the one game I’ve never spent any time with.

@@Vonchuss Yes, but on PAL they used to be able to play Killscreen years before NTSC killscreen was humanly possible. So at this point in time PAL was "faster" since Killscreen PAL is faster than lvl19 NTSC, which were considered both games max humanly viable speed. Obviously all PAL games are slower than NTSC, but that slightl difference made Killscreen playable in PAL.

Cool! I wonder what those audio artifacts are? Maybe just compression. I love F-Zero! I have such great memories playing F-Zero X and F-Zero GX, and I got pretty good at GX, or so I thought. Super Monkey Ball 2 and F-Zero GX were my favorite games on the Gamecube. Thank you for uploading this video!

I wonder... Are the controls for this game clunkier on emu? I tried doing your Aljiba farming method, but I can't get it. I know you have to be extremely precise, but sometimes it also feels like I don't hit something when I should have. This problem is also evident given that I have a habit of falling in water.

Well, it can feel clunkier on emu since most emulators have some input lag, some more than others. And with how precise the grind is it can make it really hard to get down as you have to adjust your timings a bit. Myself I can't do the grinds, the Carmilla or Dracula whip rhythm on emu.

For 2015 that was REALLY impressive... People barely used to get ONE one piece in at the kill screen. Nowadays the "kill screen" is obv being called either the chill or the thrill screen :D

It's crazy that everyone has been improving so much. Jani was probably one of few players who could play killscreen, but nowadays a lot of players can do that. Jani did play well, but that is just a normal game under Adam's standard. 😂
