This was a short run variant of this airframe. It included a large hot tub on the flight deck aft of the navigator that caused this uncontrolled yaw and pitch fluctuation when the crew would work together to "slosh" the water in the hot tub by moving from one side to the other. After several near crashes it was collectively realized how irresponsible it was to include a hot tub on the flight deck.

The tallest building at the end on left is 300m tall for a height comparison. Flying that thing at about 100m off land through a city is wild to watch. Was working on about level 15 of a high-rise one year and it was level with us on its first pass through the river

Yes Ryan air does have harder landings and that’s why they use mostly 737 they have defined a structure meant to withstand harder landings for shorter runways so it minimizes the float so they don’t overshoot

There is a wing of these birds near my state capital. They are versatile and tough airplanes that have been used by the USAF since 1956. They are used around the world in several different roles. The hurricane hunters use a WC-130J which can stay aloft for almost 18 hours.These are Super Hercules aircraft. Very special airplanes!
