RC Revenge was supposed to be the sequel but it ended up being a different game, apparently Acclaim went bankrupt and Re-Volt is currently owned by another company. That company actually made a sequel to the game on mobile but it's mostly just the same game with a new coat of paint and it shut down.

I FINALLY FOUND IT!!!! holy crap i remembered the game vividly, but the first sound track has always been stuck in my head. one of my first video games i ever played on my first mobile phone (some HTC)
