I swear, the editing on these camera angles was positively RANDOM. Like, what experienced drum corps film crew would cut AWAY from the massed snare + tenor line when we are right up front at 9:00 ? (I'm the end tenor there) Cut to the guard doing very little, then show our feature riffs _from the top of the stadium_, then cut to closeup _when we aren't doing much_ (watered down tenor lick), then @ 10:06, they start zooming in _from the farthest possible away camera_ during our epic 16-man-front playing on each other's drums! Truly, a dart-board may have been able to catch better camera angles than that director did that day. I'm still pissed, as there's no other existing footage of our 88 show.

It was such an amazing experience!! It took so many wonderful people over two years to plan and execute. at 22:50 if you look on the far right you can see my hubs & I who met in the Crossmen in 1991 hugging our son who was a tuba in the corps this year :) :)

Epic and funny truth here. I never knew what he looked like until now. Those will be some HUGE shoes to fill when he decides to pass the torch. He can have that Gig til he can’t do it anymore. I remember in 1995 walking on the field in Buffalo NY for prelims and hearing his voice for the first time I knew it was big time. Thank you Brandt Crocker.

Loved this corps.

Tears, man. Just tears. I marched from 1990-1995 for a small, midwestern corps. I traveled all across the country, at least in the Midwest, South and other places. His voice was THE voice you wanted to hear at the show. And if you were marching and you didn't hear him at the end during the retreat you really didn't care. Now they don't have retreats, but it was a part of drum corps competition, history and honor. Now, it's too time consuming and the kids from various corps can't greet one another. But anywho, it was a privilege and a honor to have heard this man all these years and that a legacy was carried down. Thank you, sir. Job well done. And loooong overdue. 💗🌹

84 Crossmen. here Had a chance to march with them. Something told I wouldn't be physically able to do it. 5 Er visits and major surgery proved me right. I'll always regret not being able to do it.

4:24 I loved playing this contra feature. The staggered breathing was hard to get right on that last low G though because it required so much air. We did it in semi finals though. Those King contras were beasts!

Great job, kids! This looks like a community-based Corps, not a super Corps that recruits from all over the country. Doing drum corps this way is far more difficult and I commend y’all for getting it done. Love the uniforms, too. Simple and classy.
