You're not going to need shade in AZ winter! It's cold, it might be 70 during the day, but when the sun goes down the temp drops like a rock! It's going to be 30 degrees colder, starting from when the sun goes down till morning & the coldest is just before dawn!

My mom & dad stayed there one winter about 15 years ago. Dad said it was the coldest winter he ever experienced. That, the wind and the dust, they never went back.

Nice setup and good grab on the campsite. On the fire pit location, I'd move it out from the tree since it could be a fire hazard, more the direction of your trailer back deck. Enjoy your stay.

Cave Tours were Fantastic, You must like to climb stairs. Our Rangers had Great sense of humor as he says, “ We climb the stairs of a Fire Tower to get out”. No Lie, Amazing Place ❤️🙏

I had one mounted on the front of my gooseneck with the front going over the neck. Carried four-wheeler motorcycle golf cart and coolers on the back. Loved the set-up.

I visited that area on my trip and will soon have a video on it. I only stayed a couple nights though. The Lit Cactus is a cool camp in LaPosa, if you're into campfire songs. Very nice people, very welcoming.

My Hope was to spend a day or two hiking here prior to going to the Cosmic campground ⛺️ Watching the weather, I had to change the plan although My destination is Quartzsite Arizona. Keep the GOAL, adjust the plan ❤️🙏
