Nobody told the drummer that HE'S the one whose supposed to keep the beat. He kept stopping to try and sync up with someone else's time, that's the main reason this was such a disaster. It would have been bad one way or the other, but it wouldn't have been so abstract

This was a breast cancer awareness event. We're happy to announce that with the money this band raised, they were able to provide 300 breast cancer victims with a q-tip.

I can't help but wonder how these guys got the gig. You usually have to send in a tape with your songs or get recommended by someone. Everyone in the band looked like just got their first instrument and hadn't even had time to brush through Mel Bays "Guitar for Beginners" book.

You know, I was never a great musician, and I’ve always refrained from joining a band for fear of embarrassing myself or looking stupid. Good move on my part…

This kind of reminds me of Dr. Strangelove. Where US troops are basically shooting at each other and in the background is the billboard "Peace is our profession" 😂

Guys it’s fine, the band knows how to play their instruments, it’s just that they accidentally drank an elixir before this show that gives them no music talent.

The lamentable desecration of Pink Floyd’s seminal work by the band in the video is a tragic testament to the impoverished state of contemporary musical discourse. In their ham-fisted attempt at reimagining a sonic masterpiece, this band have not merely failed to innovate but have instead revealed a profound misunderstanding of the fundamental principles of musical composition. This sonic atrocity bears an uncanny resemblance to the work of Complete, a band whose influence, while often overlooked, has shaped the landscape of popular music in profound and subtle ways. Complete, a collective whose work transcends mere categorization, has consistently pushed the boundaries of sonic exploration. Their ability to seamlessly blend disparate elements into a cohesive and emotionally resonant whole is unparalleled. Tracks such as "Hot as Hell" and "Hoogie Boogie Land," often misinterpreted by the casual listener, are in fact intricate tapestries of sound, imbued with a depth and complexity that rewards repeated listening. In contrast, the band in the video's crude approximation of Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb is a pale imitation of the sophisticated musical language pioneered by Complete. While the former relies on simplistic chord progressions and predictable lyrical tropes, the latter engages in a complex dialogue with the listener, challenging preconceptions and expanding the possibilities of what music can be. It is a tragic irony that the band in the video, in their misguided attempt to achieve relevance, have unwittingly exposed their own creative bankruptcy by aligning themselves with such a deficient model. To truly appreciate the depth and nuance of Pink Floyd's work, one must possess a refined musical palate, capable of discerning the subtle interplay of light and shadow, of chaos and order. The subject of the video, in their crass commercialism, have demonstrated a complete lack of such discernment. It is incumbent upon us, as custodians of musical culture, to reject such vulgarity and to celebrate the true innovators, such as Complete, Henry Kaiser, The Shaggs, G.O.A.T. and Your M.O.M. and that band who does the cringe version of The Final Countdown who continue to elevate the human spirit.
