i have one question because i could not find the answer in the internet, is it normal that the battery is only capable to make 100 pictures until its empty? when i take pictures with the dual fisheye plugin the camera is using atleast 5 percent of the capacity each photo

It doesn't work, I connect to the WiFi and it disconnects all the time, and I can't connect it again, I have to turn the camera off and on again and so on, and not to mention Bluetooth, it doesn't work directly

what camera model and firmware version on the camera are you using? Also, what version of the mobile app and on what type of phone (example: Android 14). I've heard that the RICOH official app may have some problems with Android. Be aware that this is a community, independent KZbin channel and not the official RICOH channel. You may want to contact RICOH official customer support.

Even though (I think) this was fixed, I still ran into this error. Because you showed how to see where Flutter Doctor is looking for the files, I was able to see that I had two Android Studio folders. I uninstalled one and the other didn't have an uninstaller so I just moved it and reinstalled Android Studio. I reran Flutter Doctor and it worked. Thanks! 0:40

Thank you for this tutorial! worked with no problem on windows for my ricoh theta V! I also saw in the description after clicking on the page with live streaming driver for windows - that it goes for macOS but when I downloaded the driver on a macbook it said that it's not possible to install it as it's for Windows only Could you please answer if there is a way to get the live streaming driver for macOS? Thank you very much for all the infos!

try connecting with the settings of the mobile phone, not with the mobile app itself. make sure the camera has upgraded firmware. You can use the desktop app for the upgrade over usb cable. switch the WiFi frequency to 5GHz.

Somehow once I connected Z1 camera to my Linux computer via usb port, the camera was automatically recognized as media device even in live stream mode. I actually want to extract camera frames and do some analyses in Python so the camera live stream data can be easily accessed using opencv. Any suggestions for turning the camera into a mounted video device?

@@AssolaAnge they can take 360 images with the integrated camera in their phones and store it to cameraroll or equivalent. Then, you just need to pass the path to a 360 viewer. The 360 image will take much longer to create with just the mobile phone, but it is possible. you can start with an existing stitching application from the app store or google play. if you search, you can find some.

Hey guys, I got 2 questions hope you can help. This 360 cam is awesome by the way you guys are doing a good job. q1.if I enable bluetooth device via app do I need Wi-Fi enabled. My problem is my Wi-Fi only reaches so far I can't film further away if Wi-Fi is needed Q2. does the pc software have all the functions the app does have?

you need wifi on for the initial configuration of bluetooth. After that, you don't need the wifi on. you can use only bluetooth. The PC software does not have the same capability as the app. There are two mobile apps. ricoh360 and theta app. feel free to post questions in the forum. It's a bit easier to provide information in the forum.

It's amazing how much time for "software development" is just installing the components necessary to get a framework to start up and run. Often times, the actual coding part is easier. In this case, the Hello World requires an understanding of the "Django path and template" paradigm. So, if you can do hello world, you can likely create a more complex site.

It's so weird to me how dependent these cameras are on other devices. I hate the trend of putting limited information in the paper manual that comes with the camera, as if everything on the internet is permanent. Paper manuals require no electricity to run.
