Time certainly does pass quicker and quicker the older I get! I was born in 1960. You can probably guess that the years now quickly pass by!!!

Newcomen used Atmospheric Power, not Steam Power. Watt used Steam Power. The Industrial Revolution depended on Steam Power. Spinning and Weaving had nothing to do with the Industrial Revolution.
@Walter-w9v6 ай бұрын
In Britain from 1800 to 1900. 20,000 Waterwheels decreased in number. Windmills decreased in number. The Englishman Thomas Newcomen's 1,500 Atmospheric Pumps disappeared. The Scotsman James Watt's 500 Steam Engines and their descendants increased in number to 10,000,000 !!! For every SINGLE Waterwheel in 1800 you now had 500 Steam Engines in 1900. That's an increase in Power output for the whole country of 500 times !!! And consequently in production capacity. And it was all due to only one Invention, James Watt's Invention of the world's first PRACTICAL Steam Powered Engine. The only things new, that had never existed before were James Watt's Steam Powered Engines. This WAS the Industrial Revolution! Nothing else.
@wattage-uk9zt7 ай бұрын
The Industrial Revolution was the replacement of Water-Power by Steam Power. James Watt dumped Savery and Newcomen's Atmospheric Power and Arkwright's Water-Power for Steam Power. To achieve this he had to invent a new machine, the world's first PRACTICAL High Pressure Steam Engine. It was a Power Revolution. The relatively meager number of Water-wheels were replaced by a massive ( eventually! ), number of Steam Engines.

Clowns look like dead with that pale skin. Also why red? Why not yellow which is color that represents joy. Red doesn’t represent joy and why have pale white skin. Not white people skin, but vimpire skin.

There's literally zero indication of that. The claim is based on a miscomprehension of the relevant linguistics, reliance on faulty sources, folklore, and mere assertions. For a detailed review of claim, search online for, "Is Paul Stobbs right? Did Nephilim Look Like Clowns?"

The first germans, polish, czechs, flemish (belgians), swiss and maybe from other central european countries to set foot on continental mainland of New World was in 1529, so as to work as miners to search El Dorado in actual Venezuela . The leased colony by Emperor Charles V to the banker family of Welser was called "Klein Venedig" and its capital Coro was named "Neu Augsburg", Maracaibo "Neu Nüremberg" and Cabimas o "Neu Ulm". Some expeditions inland departed from Coro and El Tocuyo (also given a german name as Tocuyothal) searching for El Dorado. "Klein Venedig" didn't last long though, this was due to both poor results and complaints from miners and locals, thus Emperor Charles V didn't renew the contract to the Welsers (bankers from Augsburg). Some very old and forgotten cemeteries in NW Venezuela may have some surnames still, no idea. This was at a time when the portuguese were still exploring lands which soon later became Brazil and the spanish just arriving to Cuzco and the River Plate. 🇩🇪🇻🇪 🤠👍 That's right the reasons of the Welser expeditions was to find Eldorado for that, they didn't make a culture legacy and now Maracaibo (The principal city than they created ) doesn't have nothing of germ an culture appart of the Tovar colony established in 1842. But in the Second World War with the germans emigration they build and reapairs so much of his old colonies these new villages start to buiding to equaty than in otrers countries like Peru, Brasil, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina that's when they finally make a legacy in that's countries (Culture legacy). sorry for the fails in the coment, my english is not very nice . What is curious is the venezuelan liking for some central european tastes atypical for tropical latinamerica: maltzgetränke (malta), probably the highest per capita consumption in the world, tartar sauce for hot dogs (salsa tartara o la misma "alemana" para perros calientes), münster cheese (queso munster), dutch cheeses (quesos holandeses), smoked andean cheese similar to rauchkäse (queso ahumado andino similar al rauchkäse), the sulzer, polish style sausages for hotdog making (salchichas tipo polacas para perros calientes), the traditional potato (+ chicken & apple) christmas salad similar to austrian and german christmas salads (ensalada de papas navideña similar a la ensalada de papas navideña alemana). Appart, the "tradition" for the christmas pine tree (aparte, la "tradición" del pino navideño). Maybe more. It's probably related to a tiny "DNA memory" component as most of those foods were introduced way much later during the XX century. No research has ever been done about it though.

I've been to the museum in Bogota and lake guatavita very impressive the museum is 5 stories difficult to see in one day. And lake guatavita is incredibly beautiful I highly recommend a trip there. The best part of the trip was observing the Indian portion of the museum and standing right next to me was an actual Indian from the same ancient tribe!

Lake Guatavita is beautiful . I was fortunate enough to have lived in Colombia for 4 years. The display in the Museo del Oro in Bogotá is definitely worth a visit.

THIS VIDEO IS FULL OF ERRORS. Many dates, images and details in this video are wrong. Do not consider it historically accurate; it is incorrect in a number of ways, some of which are below and in other comments. :35 This is not the flag of the UK. It is missing St Patrick's Cross (the red "x") part of the union jack which has been part of it since 1801. The flag shown is 225 years out of date. And it ignores Ireland's important part of the UK and The Commonwealth. It would be like showing and American Flag in a video about the World War 2, but using a flag with a circle of 13 original stars from 1776. This video has many errors, which is bad for a history video. It said this happened in 1984, it also had the wrong Canadian flag, and many other details. When speaking of history, getting the dates and flags is the easy part. It's not even an opinion, these are simple facts. This is giving people wrong information. I feel sorry for people watching this video hoping to learn and is given this incorrect information.

@@Shkk part of it did, part of it didn't. That was the mistake. And the flag was still wrong in either case.
