Just fyi. The slide wasn't closing on the barrel flag at the beginning because you had an empty mag still in it. Beautiful gun btw. I bought mine in 2016 and out of everything I've ever owned, it is still my favorite pistol.

That looks like a 6.5” old model. Great gun. I have a 1970 6.5’ in .357. It is without a doubt one of my favorite revolvers.

I'm glad to see you had any success with the Winchester Wildcat. I have 5000rds of the LRN version of that round and this failed 70% in my Ruger LCP2. Fail to fire, fail to eject when one did fire, and then the round jammed in the barrel to end my range day. Since ammo is nonreturnable, I am now looking to buy a gun to match the ammo.

If you own a .22 pistol, you really need to pick up a few packs of CCI UPPERCUT ammo. Check out a few videos where its tested in ballistic gelatin. I too like to keep a good supply of ammo on hand...just in case.

@reelshooting Subsonic is typically more accurate overall,.22 ammo usually goes from supersonic to Subsonic in less than 50 yards, going through the transonic barrier causes instability and less accuracy, that's why basically all actual target ammo is Subsonic to begin with.

I've had some good results using the Ned Bomb from Missile Baits, especially in the colder water months. When nothing else gets bit in those cold water months, it has gotten me some bites. I have also used it on the Core Tackle Hover Rig and have gotten a few in the pre-spawn with it. I like the tail action versus using a regular ZMan TRD.

@@atoadigi I agree i believe the tail action will help especially in the cold months. I remember watching tactical bassin youtube channel and they mention in cold momths you want to fish softer plastics with action because that cold water can be tough to get bites in. yea the regualr trd doesnt have alot of action but it does gets bites throughout the year, but like you say the missle baits ned bomb is probably better in the cold.
