This was a very helpful tutorial! Did this and it worked 😅. Google screwed the pooch on this one. How hard is it to fix an issue that was happening 3 years ago?!

If anyone can’t get this to work, no matter how you try taping it, try spray painting both sides of the window black. I couldn’t get the tape or a Sharpie to work, but a quick burst of Rustoleum on each side did the trick. Cover the white ink connector before spraying. Also spray in at an angle so you get the edge of the window that is almost covered by plastic and that’s how I get mine to work.

Didn't work on lc3211, I covered window on top but nothing😕

This printer is a workhorse. We have saved SO much money kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 . I've only filled the ink tanks once and have printed thousands of pages. The color is a little dull, but I will take the cost savings any day. It has trouble feeding envelopes, but other than that, I can't recommend it enough. I'm super super pleased with this printer and recommend it to all my friends.
