I believe the GAN 15 will have adjustable magnets, the team simply hasn't used them for prototypes to simplify early stage production. At least, my most recent prototype does have magnets.

Tornado v3 is great and all, but MAN it took long to setup correctly. I had to adjust to the bad corner cutting + magnets and it took weeks until I felt confident with the cube. It would be insane if the v4 was just a v3 with the added benefit of corner cutting and other stuff.
