Great visionary for the drag-racing scene in general. Where would the numbers be at without APE?!…Jay also has one of the best websites in all of 2-wheel performance for products/info…salute to a “living legend” (doubt Brock Davidson would of gone 7’s on a street-tire years ago, The 1st one).

I'm just going APE watching -these- this craftsman. I don't even care that "I was first" I hate to sound like a girl but I love the swirl! Seriously though - new viewer here and I've already smashed the SUBBUTTON. Cheers from So.Ca.USA 3rd House On the Left.

Oh Snap! That valve lapping tools "has a vacuum assist"?? If so, I'm in love! I have always said that I've never met a lapping cup-tool that I actually like i.e. worked!. This could change everything if you say it's so Thank you for the gear head video. And here I though my GF was the only one that gave great head..

Thanks for the great video. I wanted to know if these camshaft bearings were in this engine from the factory?

Not to knock y’all’s work, as I don’t know. Wouldn’t this be better done with a fairly large diameter ball nose end mill to minimize lost bucket support?

good video, how do you know when more spring pressure is needed ?
@jasnterry1313
@jasnterry1313 9 ай бұрын
If the valves don't close in fast( like at high rpm), the pressure can be increased.

let me ask it this way, what is the symptom or symptom's ? (valve float or valve bounce) Does the power kind of go flat or level's off at the higher rpm range? like it's going lean?

Nice work! 🤙 Do you guys do replacement copper valve seat head work as well? I have an ‘06 RMZ450 that needs the head freshened up with new valves, springs and preferably valve seats and am wondering if that’s something you guys could possibly do?

Thought I commented already hmm Can you please do a video of porting a head? I would like to get a put pre-ported and put together CRF450 head. How much perfomance would the stock vs ported be?
@APE_Race_Parts
@APE_Race_Parts 9 ай бұрын
You did post this question before but that version of the video was deleted and re-uploaded and so your comment got deleted before it even had a chance to be answered. I may do a porting video one day. But for performance queries please email your questions to APE tech at [email protected].
