Commerce Casino is overrated for me...I would put it 4th or 5th on my top 5 list.....Would put Hustler and Bicycle Casinos above Commerce.....

5. Commerce. Lotsa shady characters there, the tables are packed too close, food and parking options not the best 4. The Bike. Longer wait for seats, tighter players. Farther drive from O.C. 3. Hustler. Good vibes, decent action. You can watch the streaming game live too. 2. Gardens. Newest venue, $40 and $100 games. Pepe's across the street has the best Mexican food. 1. Hollywood Park. Best action for 1-2 $40-$100 game IMO. Close to SoFi and Intuit Stadium for sports entertainment.

telegraphing the strength of your hand by 3betting out of turn is an angle shoot? his hand is so good that his subconscious can't even wait for the action to come to him. he didn't say "oh i didnt want to reraise" hes honest abt the fact that he thinks his hand is worth $75.

The Q10 hand is a great example of pretty average poker. Your in their battling in a marginal situation, you make your hand and instead of going for value or allowing villain to potentially bluff you make a wacky all in overbet which has 3 possible scenarios (1) he snaps it off with a full house K9, 99, KJ or flush;(2) he folds trips because the front door flush came in and a possible straight is on the board or he puts you on a full house; (3) he folds complete air as has nothing and was bluffing because he thought you had nothing. So you completely let him off the hook. So an all in bet there just can not be a +EV play. Maybe you can justify it because you are constantly bluffing and in there with garbage all the time but I still feel you are almost always facing these scenarios.

Hey Kirin, i'll be honest with you, you're just not that player who will be disciplined enough to play preflop charts. You're the weekend warrior who is there to have fun and exploit the table as much as possible. SOOOOOO, with that said, I recommend you check out Hungry Horse and reach out to Marc Coone for coaching. I'm not a student of his, not a personal friend or anything like that, but I watch his videos and I believe that is your style! :) To be honest, if you cut most of the bluffing you will be ok, but where's the fun in that!

You claim to have made $50k a year over the past 10 years…..A $40k downswing is called variance, not to mention HCL is not real poker. It’s extremely entertaining but some of the play is “made for tv”

He says he's gonna have to maximize his wins right after playin 2 hands so bad that he won the minimum amounts possible. I didn't see how the hustler hands played but seein that one was T5o, its hard to believe the sessions didn't go well. Definitely here for the chaos but constructive criticism in poker is crucial.

It was unbearable. Stopped watching it. Id imagine you went on a bad down swing and kinda felt unlucky and started pressing. What ever the case may be, I just want you to know your on the right track rn and have the capabilities of being one of the best in the world. You need to do whatever other POKER influencer is doing. They’ve realize that they’re not any better than the average decent player, and they have decided to monetize their audience and become professional influencers and use POKER as a hobby. Spend a lot of time going to different poker venues, Win or lose a little bit as the losses won’t matter compared to the income from your side gig POKER influencing. Everybody wins under the scenario. You just aren’t significantly better than the people you’re playing cards with. You are significantly better than the average person trying to put out entertainment on KZbin. The work needed to make your first choice of income, your most profitable form of income, you’re not willing to do, and even if you did do it, you would hate the kind of poker player you would make you. So congratulations on being a wonderful entertainer and good luck monetizing your subscribers, I am one of them and I am rooting for you.

The one thing you’re going to have to understand, and this may take away one of the major regions while you play poker, is that playing better will be much much more boring than you’re used to. Solid POKER, assuming you’re not in very loose games with whales With you probably not at the stake you’re playing, is boring. It’s just who can play tighter than the other guy. If you can’t play above the rim, and that’s very difficult to learn you either have you don’t, then playing tight in position is the only way to win Long Termin the games you’re playing. This is a realization that I have had to deal with over the past few years.

i think your logic when losing was sort of shifting towards a doug polk style of winning pots by bombing turn and river with blockers . but one thing i heard jungleman say is that solvers still prefer to pile in money with a favorable run out. when i think of how i want to play hji stakes i think of mike x and how his very tight aggressive nit style still works
