Que lástima que este lado de Marie, fue muy poco reconocida en el mundo entero. Ya que se hizo famosa por Roxette, y su música como solista solamente la conocemos las y los fans de ella. La gente en general la reconoce por canciones románticas o superficiales en inglés. Pero Marie, en su idioma natal, era más profunda, más comprometida, más nostálgica, no mejor, ni peor. Sino distinta, que demuestra lo gran artista que fue, porque no era solo cantante, era intérprete, compositora, pianista, etc.
